eFootball 2026 Big Time & Show Time Standout Midfielders 25-26 Season’s Best pack: Review, Best Progression Builds, and Skills

I’m so excited – the latest Season’s Best pack just dropped in eFootball 2026! This one features some incredible midfielders. Antoine Semenyo is the headliner as a Big Time player, and they’ve also included Federico Valverde and Elliot Anderson as Show Time players. Definitely going to try and get these cards!

It’s a bit unexpected to see Semenyo getting so much attention, given how competitive the midfield positions usually are. The players selected aren’t necessarily big names, but they all have solid stats.

Ultimately, it matters how these cards perform in the game, the best strategies for using them, and whether they’re worth spending your in-game currency on. Here’s my review and overall opinion.

eFootball 2026 Big Time & Show Time Standout Midfielders players

Antoine Semenyo

  • Position: LMF
  • Playing Style: Cross Specialist
  • Show Time Skill: Acceleration Burst and Magnetic Feet

This is Semenyo’s second special card, following his previous ‘Show Time’ version, and it’s a clear upgrade. His stats are more streamlined, and with the right team, he can achieve impressively high overall ratings as a Left Wing Forward.

The main problem isn’t the player’s stats, but how they play. This ‘Cross Specialist’ build just doesn’t quite work, especially considering their dribbling, speed, and strength. It’s not ideal, but we’ll try to make it work anyway.

While Acceleration Burst and Magnetic Feet are powerful abilities, they don’t quite feel as impactful as the previous combination of Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Finishing. However, they’re still excellent skills with impressive stats.

Good dribbling feels great. For wingers, having a solid balance of control and physical strength is ideal, and it’s a big advantage to be comfortable using either foot.

He’s a capable finisher, able to cut inside and score sometimes, but he lacks the exceptional speed of elite wingers like Messi, Best, or the newer Hazard cards.

Suggested Skills: First Time Shot, Outside Curler, Flip Flap, Marseille Turn, Long Range Shooting

Federico Valverde

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Box-to-Box
  • Show Time Skill: Fortress and Low Screamer

Valverde cards are generally reliable players, as they don’t usually have any obvious flaws, and this one appears to be no different. He’s designed to be an all-around midfielder, and his stats seem to support that well-rounded ability.

He’s well-rounded, with good speed and dribbling skills, and his stats are approaching the excellent range. His passing and defense are consistently strong. He’s versatile enough to play effectively in almost any midfield position.

Low Screamer is a good choice for Valverde, as his cards consistently threaten from long range. While Fortress is decent, it’s not a particularly flashy skill, and he deserved something more impactful. He’s an obvious pick because of his incredible work rate and all-around contributions, especially since stamina is so important in the current game.

Suggested Skills: Double Touch, First Time Shot, Sliding Tackle, Man Marking, Pinpoint Crossing

Suggested Booster(s): Duelling, Shutdown, Balancer

Elliot Anderson

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skill: Visionary Pass and Attack Trigger

This card looks really good overall. It’s most similar to Frenkie de Jong – it has a medium-sized player model and feels smooth while dribbling. The player can confidently advance the ball through midfield and is very comfortable when in possession.

Anderson plays with a noticeably more assertive and forceful defensive style. He’s much stronger when tackling and competing for the ball, which should give him a greater sense of impact when regaining possession. While his Visionary Pass ability is good, I believe this card would have been even more effective with Phenomenal Pass instead of Attack Trigger.

Attack Trigger isn’t a particularly impactful player in an orchestrating midfield role. He’s also not strong in the air, so he’d likely be most effective alongside a physically dominant defensive midfielder.

Suggested Skills: Sliding Tackle, Man Marking, Blocker, Heading, Aerial Superiority

Suggested Booster(s): Hard Worker, Agility

Should you spin for the Big Time & Show Time Standout Midfielders 25-26 Season’s Best pack in eFootball 2026

This pack isn’t essential right now. We’ll likely see much better options released during the World Cup period, so it’s probably best to wait.
