Richard Osman, famous for his novels and the hit show The Traitors, is hosting a new game show on ITV. Called The Golden Elevators, the show will feature ten contestants competing to reach the top of a skyscraper for a chance to win a large cash prize. The show comes from the same producers behind The Traitors and Gogglebox.
From the makers of Race Across the World and Talpa Studios, comes The Golden Elevators, a new game show where players face yes/no questions and must decide whether to cooperate or betray each other to win. They’ll discuss and choose which elevator to ride, all while potentially deceiving their fellow contestants.
Players who answer correctly advance upwards, while those who answer incorrectly return to the lobby and are out of the game.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be hosting The Golden Elevators,” Osman said in a statement.
I was hooked as soon as I saw the game! It’s easy to understand, but surprisingly challenging to win – I’ve never seen a quiz show quite like it. I’m really excited for people watching ITV to see The Golden Elevators. I like to call it The Golden Lifts.

So, ITV’s Katie Rawcliffe, who’s in charge of entertainment shows, just said our new show is going to be seriously unpredictable – lots of surprises! And apparently, it’s all led by this character called ‘King’ Osman. Sounds like it’s going to be a wild ride, honestly, I’m hyped to see what happens!
Rawcliffe announced that ITV will be airing The Golden Elevators, a new fast-paced and unpredictable game show hosted by the talented Richmond Osman. He described it as perfect for viewers to play along with during primetime television.

According to Studio Lambert’s Chief Creative Officer, Tim Harcourt, this quiz show is surprisingly challenging despite its straightforward question-and-answer format. He describes the collaboration between ITV, Talpa Studios, and Richard Osman as a ‘dream team,’ and expressed excitement about bringing the show to viewers.
Jasper Hoogendoorn, Chief Creative Officer at Talpa Studios, hinted that the show could be sold internationally. He explained that they’ve had big plans for the format from the beginning, and early interest from other countries shows it’s something special. He also expressed gratitude to ITV and their partners at Studio Lambert for being the first to bring the show outside of the Netherlands, and confirmed they are already in serious talks with several countries.
Osman is back on game shows after leaving BBC’s House of Games in March. He hosted the popular quiz for nine years before Michael Sheen took over.
The Golden Elevators will air on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
