HOMEGAME, a Tokyo clothing store, is celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Kamen Rider series with a new collection of made-to-order T-shirts. The collection features designs inspired by every main Kamen Rider character, from the original series that started in 1971 to the newest hero, Kamen Rider Zetts, coming in 2025. There are 42 different T-shirts in total, and they’re only available for a limited time through the HOMEGAME online store.
All 42 T-shirts are made with the same careful attention to detail, and each features a striking, large-scale graphic of a single rider on the front – it’s meant to be a bold visual, not a small detail. The fabric is specially washed to feel soft and vintage, giving each shirt the feel of a well-loved, classic item instead of typical merchandise. Only the HOMEGAME logo on the back provides any branding besides the rider image. Each shirt comes in black, ensuring the graphic remains the main focus and maintains a consistent look throughout the collection.
What makes this release special isn’t just that it’s an anniversary collection – it’s the sheer scale of it. With designs for forty different riders, the collection is a complete visual history of the franchise’s 55 years, covering everything from the classic Showa-era riders of the 70s and 80s, through the expanded Heisei era (1987-2019), and up to the present day. Two special designs combine riders from the Showa and Heisei eras, offering collectors a way to represent the entire franchise instead of focusing on just one character. Because the collection is made to order, it’s clearly aimed at dedicated fans who know exactly which rider they want, rather than being a general product for anyone to pick up.
HOMEGAME’s choice to feature Kamen Rider with the same care they give to other classic references reflects a growing trend in Japanese select shops. Tokusatsu IP – the tradition of live-action special effects shows like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai – is becoming increasingly popular in collaborations with high-end streetwear brands and shops. What sets this HOMEGAME collection apart is its attention to detail, specifically the unique washing and construction techniques, which show it was designed as a quality clothing line, not just a simple licensed product.
You can now order the Kamen Rider x HOMEGAME T-shirt collection from the HOMEGAME online store. Orders will be accepted until May 24th, and the shirts are expected to ship in mid-July 2026.
