Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS and Nike are releasing a new color of their popular Rift shoe. Called “Psychic Pink,” the bright bubblegum pink design launches on May 14th and is the most vibrant look from their collaboration yet.
Okay, so these shoes basically build on the same design as the original Rift Mesh – which I already loved. The upper is still made with that mesh material, keeping them super lightweight and breathable for when it gets hot. Underneath, the cushioning feels amazing – seriously comfy, like slipping your feet into something soft. Nike and SKIMS have been doing this comfy thing since they first teamed up in January, and it shows. They’ve got this adjustable strap in the middle to get the perfect fit, but it doesn’t mess with the shoe’s sleek look. And a cool detail? Instead of the usual rubber grip on the bottom, they’ve put the SKIMS “S” logo there. It’s a subtle touch, but it really makes these stand out.
The new “Psychic Pink” version of the NikeSKIMS Rift Mesh is a significant change in color for the shoe. Previous releases in January 2026—Black, Velvet Brown, and Archaeo Brown—followed SKIMS’ signature style of understated, earth-tone colors, and a Satin version continued this trend. This new pink colorway is the first time the collaboration has used a single, bold color across the entire shoe—from the toe to the strap and heel—without any contrasting details. While this all-over color look fits the shoe’s design, which treats the shoe as one continuous surface, the bright pink signals a move towards a more summery feel and aims to attract a wider range of customers than the earlier, more neutral colors.
This launch coincides with a growing trend in the footwear industry for bolder, more colorful women’s shoes. And with the “Psychic Pink” release, Nike and SKIMS are demonstrating their willingness to experiment with colors beyond their usual styles.
