Love Island star ‘arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, stalking and coercive control’

A former contestant on Love Island was reportedly arrested upon arriving in the UK, facing allegations of sexual assault, stalking, and controlling behavior.

For legal reasons, the man – who is in his 20s and whose name hasn’t been released – is also facing charges of damaging property, common assault, and threatening to share intimate images of the alleged victim without their consent.

The suspect was arrested when he arrived at the airport after a woman reported the allegations to police.

The TV star is not connected to the current series and has been released on bail.

Someone close to the situation told The Sun that these very serious claims are the last thing “Love Island” and ITV need, especially considering the show’s history of difficulties.

If the allegations are true, network executives will likely prevent this person from being involved with the show or having any connection to ITV. The police are treating the situation with utmost seriousness.

According to the report, the Metropolitan Police began their investigation on November 15th, and he was arrested twelve days afterward.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of several crimes, including sexual assault, stalking, damaging property, and common assault. They have also offered support to a woman affected by the situation.

Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment.

The new season of Love Island All Stars, with Maya Jama as host, premiered on Thursday night.

The new dating show, originally scheduled to begin filming last Saturday and premiere on Monday, January 12, 2026, has been delayed because of the wildfires in South Africa.

The show was originally supposed to premiere Monday evening, but wildfires over the weekend forced a delay in filming, pushing back the launch date.

Honestly, it’s just devastating to think about everything that went wrong! I read that the delays were costing ITV over £15,000 every single hour! It wasn’t just about the show being held up, either – they had the entire crew, staff, camera operators, even psychologists flown all the way to South Africa, just waiting around for things to start. It’s just…a huge waste, and it breaks my heart knowing how much money and effort was lost while we all waited anxiously for the show to begin!

Maya, the host of the show, arrived in Cape Town last week to prepare for filming. Meanwhile, the twelve contestants – including Millie Court and Tommy Bradley – were enjoying a stay in luxurious accommodations.

A number of ‘bombshells’ who are yet to be revealed are also waiting on standby.

The Daily Mail reported on Monday that Curtis Pritchard, a former contestant on Love Island, will be returning for the show’s new ‘All Stars’ season – marking his fourth time appearing on the program.

Curtis will be the new host, taking over from Casey O’Gorman, who previously appeared on the show four times and won last year’s All Stars season with Gabby Allen.

Maura, a former girlfriend, definitely won’t be joining him on the show. She’s been busy raising her profile, recently attending the Golden Globe Awards.

Thanks to her recent role on the US version of The Traitors, Maura is now mingling with celebrities at high-profile events, a far cry from her beginnings on the show back in 2019.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m excited to share the latest buzz! This year’s cast of Love Island All Stars is officially here, and it’s packed with familiar faces! We’re talking former winners Millie and Jess Harding, runner-up Whitney Adebayo, and even Ronan Keating’s son, Jack. Get ready for some serious drama and unforgettable moments!

Maya made a grand entrance at the Love Island villa on Wednesday, turning heads as she began filming the new All Stars series.

The presenter looked fantastic in recent photos, wearing a simple white sleeveless dress.

The garment featured a plunging neckline and a deep, open back with low cut sides.
