Soccer and streetwear are colliding! With soccer’s growing influence on fashion, SOPH. is hosting “FOOTBALL IS NEVER BORING,” a month-long pop-up shop in Tokyo’s Harajuku district. The event will fully immerse visitors in soccer culture, but the biggest highlight is a new collection created in collaboration with F.C. Real Bristol and the iconic fragment design by Hiroshi Fujiwara. It’s a must-see for streetwear fans!
The F.C. Real Bristol and fragment design collaboration brings together the worlds of sports and streetwear with a stylish collection of athletic wear. The range features a sophisticated blouson jacket, a coordinating jersey and shorts set, and graphic tees displaying both brands. Designer Hiroshi Fujiwara’s attention to detail is clear, particularly in the use of a deep “Japan Blue” color that pays homage to classic national team uniforms.
The collection gets a modern, bold look with a striking digital camouflage pattern layered over a blue base. Plus, each piece features Hiroshi Fujiwara’s iconic double thunderbolt logo – a signature of fragment design – instantly making these sporty clothes highly collectible.
This collection will launch a limited-time “FOOTBALL IS NEVER BORING” pop-up shop in the middle of Shibuya. And for those who can’t visit the shop in person, SOPH. will also be releasing the collection at its stores and online.
This new collection perfectly blends F.C. Real Bristol’s classic soccer style with the cool, influential design of fragment design, making it a hit for those who love the growing “football-core” trend. It’s ideal for wearing to games or as stylish streetwear, proving that soccer and fashion go hand-in-hand. The Japan Blue collection will be available online at SOPH. starting May 15th at 12 p.m. JST, and at the V.A. Concept Store pop-up from May 15th to June 14th, 2026.
