NBC revealed the news during its presentation of the fall TV lineup, where it shared details about several new and returning shows.

The new comedy series is inspired by Kate Myers’ 2023 novel, Excavations. Although the title might remind fans of Parks & Recreation‘s pit, the show centers around four archaeologists in Greece who uncover a secret that quickly draws them into a global conspiracy.
