A Ma Maniére has just opened its largest store yet – a 23,000-square-foot flagship on Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta. Located in the Old Fourth Ward, this new space is more than just a store; it’s designed to be a cultural hub. It includes the brand’s ‘Maison’ retail experience, luxury suites for guests, and a special dining program.

The building’s design intentionally creates a contrast meant to honor the neighborhood’s history and Black culture. Along Edgewood Avenue, it blends in with the area’s traditional look and feel, keeping the original textures and patterns. As it faces the Boulevard, the building shifts to a more modern style, visually representing a conversation between Atlanta’s past and its future.

The store’s design is divided into different experiential zones. The main retail space, called “Maison,” is designed like a high-end fashion boutique, focusing on creating a specific mood rather than just displaying merchandise. Above the retail area, “Living Suites” provide a hotel-like experience. Each suite—The Morrison, The Hurston, The Baldwin, The Simone, and The King—is a carefully designed space meant to fully immerse guests in a particular cultural style and showcase luxurious living.






Beyond the main areas, the facility features two special zones: ‘The Galerie’ and ‘The Reserve’. ‘The Galerie’ is designed as a welcoming space for people to connect and experience the atmosphere, rather than just shop. ‘The Reserve’ is the heart of the building’s dining area, bringing food and drinks into the overall brand experience. The entire 23,000-square-foot space is carefully designed to stimulate all the senses – sight, sound, and taste – creating a fully immersive experience, unlike a typical standalone boutique.
