Okay, so everyone thinks of Christmas as this chill time with family and a break from work, right? But as a gamer, it’s kinda different. It feels like a bunch of games get totally disrupted, and honestly, a lot of that seems to be happening because of Epic Games. It’s not always the relaxing break we’re hoping for!
The server outages aren’t limited to games made in the US. Both Elden Ring (released in 2022) and its new multiplayer game, Elden Ring: Nightreign, are currently experiencing server issues on PC, starting December 24th.
Elden Ring and Nightreign Down and Offline on December 24
Many players are reporting that the game is currently unavailable. The problem appears to be affecting those on PC, especially with issues related to Epic Games. Our testing confirms that both Elden Ring and Nightreign are experiencing connection problems.
Several games are currently experiencing issues, not just Elden Ring. Others affected include ARC Raiders, Fortnite, Ready or Not, and others.
Recently, a quick update (version 1.03.1) was released for Nightreign in Elden Ring. This update included some server-side fixes.
- Added the enhanced version of Balancers, Salvation’s Standard-Bearers, as potential targets in the Deep of Night mode if you own The Forsaken Hollows DLC.
- This boss can only appear if matched with players that also own the DLC.
- Increased the amount of Relics obtained upon victory/defeat in the Deep of Night mode if the target is from The Forsaken Hollows DLC.
- Adjusted the increase/decrease rate upon victory/defeat in the Deep of Night mode when the difference between the depth level of the Expedition and your own is higher than two.=
We’ll update the article as soon as we have more information about the server issues or if anything new happens.
