After the success of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 2023, which reportedly concluded the ‘Wilds’ era of the series, Nintendo is looking ahead to new directions for The Legend of Zelda. Fans are buzzing with excitement about potential future titles, including rumors of a new 2D Zelda game and a possible remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time expected to be announced later this year. Adding to the anticipation is the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie.
Before we fully conclude the story that began with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2017, one last collectible is on the way for fans. Link from Tears of the Kingdom will be featured as a new ornament in Hallmark’s 2026 Keepsake Ornament collection.
Talented artist Simone Mariano has created a new collectible figure of Link, joining their impressive roster that includes characters like Mickey Mouse and Darth Vader. This Link figure is designed with his outfit from Tears of the Kingdom and posed just like on the game’s box art. As a special touch, the figure includes a button that plays the beautiful main theme from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom when pressed.
The Link ornament will be available for purchase on the Hallmark website starting July 11th for $42.99. It requires three LR44 button batteries (included), allowing you to enjoy the iconic theme song with a simple press. While it may be sold on other sites like Amazon later, Hallmark will be the first retailer to offer it.
