Brooklyn and his wife have been caught in a family dispute that’s kept them from attending important events for the past year, including his father David’s 50th birthday and recent knighting ceremony.

David and Victoria Beckham, both around 50 years old, are reportedly struggling with someone’s absence as Christmas approaches, while the rest of their family gathers in the UK.

People close to the couple report they’re struggling more than ever with their separation, especially since he couldn’t be there when his father received a knighthood last month and when his soccer team, Inter Miami, won the championship.

As a longtime follower, it was heartbreaking to see his post. Everyone immediately flooded the comments, practically begging him to connect with his parents. So many people were saying things like, ‘Please, go see them – you’ll seriously regret it if you don’t,’ and ‘Just talk to your mom! This follows a recent gesture from Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, who shared a childhood home video of the two of them, seemingly hoping to reconnect.

He’d mentioned the influencer again, marking the second time in just two weeks. Previously, the musician had posted a photo from a 2021 holiday with Brooklyn, their father, and brother Romeo (age 23), writing, ‘Love you guys’ as the caption.

Last week, David seemed to try and connect with Brooklyn by posting an old photo of them together on social media.

Brooklyn’s grandmother, Jackie, showed she wanted him to spend the holidays with her by hanging his personalized stocking alongside those of his cousins on the fireplace.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Victoria just posted the cutest video! It’s of her mom’s incredible Christmas setup, and I seriously died when I saw the stockings. They’re all red and perfectly hung above the fireplace, and she got one for each of her kids – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – and all their cousins too! It’s just… everything. I need that Christmas in my life!

She also included her niece and nephew – Liberty, Tallulah, Finlay, and Quincy – the children of her younger sister, Louise, and Louise’s ex-husband, Darren Flood.

Sources say the display was a pointed message to someone named Brooklyn. According to one insider, ‘They don’t normally show all the Christmas stockings like that, but it’s their way of letting Brooklyn know they’re being thought of and missed.’

It’s wonderful that he has a loving family, so any issues happening between him and Nicola’s family aren’t a reflection of the Beckhams themselves.

They want him to know he’s always welcome and the door is open whenever he wants to visit. They really hope Brooklyn can join them for Christmas, let go of any past issues, and begin the new year with a clean slate.

As for Nicola, they’ve given up on trying to repair the relationship. It doesn’t seem likely she’ll change her mind, so they’re now focusing their attention on Brooklyn.
