Disney is such a huge part of popular culture that the name itself has become almost interchangeable with it. Whether it’s classic animated films or blockbuster movies based on their theme park attractions – like the Pirates of the Caribbean series – most people enjoy something Disney creates. In fact, if you love a brand that wasn’t originally Disney, there’s a good chance Disney now owns it, as the company frequently acquires other successful brands.
As a big fan of streaming, I’ve noticed something interesting. One of the most-watched shows on Disney+ isn’t even made by Disney! Seriously, Bluey is huge – it’s one of the most popular shows anywhere, and Disney has really gotten behind it, which makes a lot of people think it’s one of their own. But if you’re a Bluey fan and love the Disney parks, you’ve been out of luck… until now! They’ve announced that Bluey and her family will be coming to the parks early next year, which is fantastic news!

Bluey’s Best Day Ever Is Coming To The Fantasyland Theater At Disneyland
Disney announced exciting news for fans of Bluey and Bingo today! In 2026, the popular characters will be appearing at Disney theme parks and on Disney Cruise Line. Disneyland Resort will have the biggest experience, with Bluey and Bingo featured in a brand new attraction at the Fantasyland Theater – it’s much more than just a chance to meet them!
Fantasyland Theater hasn’t been used much lately. After the park closed during the pandemic and ‘Mickey and Magical Map’ ended, it only hosted one full show, ‘Tales of the Lion King.’ Since then, it’s mostly been used for simple character meet-and-greets, and currently, it’s where children can meet Santa Claus.
The new Bluey attraction isn’t a traditional show, but it will turn the area into Bluey’s school! Throughout the day, Bluey and Bingo will appear with performers and musicians, who will play music from the show and lead games like Keepy Uppy. This experience begins on March 22, 2026.

Get Disney+ for as low as $11.99 per month with their ad-supported plan. Subscribe now and you can watch every episode of Bluey before you get to meet him at Disneyland next year! See the deal here.
I’m really hoping the actual space looks as amazing as the concept art suggests! The Fantasyland Theater has hosted events before, like Pixar Fest, but when there isn’t a show happening, the area needs to be more engaging and feel like you’re really part of the experience. This new design seems like it could achieve that.
Bluey Is Coming To Disney World And Disney Cruise Line Too
While Disneyland is set to receive a special Bluey attraction, Walt Disney World will also get some Bluey fun! Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Conservation Station will have the chance to play and dance with Bluey and Bingo. Plus, starting next year, Bluey and Bingo will be appearing on certain Disney Cruise Line voyages.
I recently checked out the Bluey immersive experience in Australia, and honestly, it feels like just the first step for this beloved show within Disney parks. While it might take a while – we’re not talking tomorrow – before Bluey and her family pop up in parks outside of Australia, or even get their own dedicated ride or show, I’m pretty confident it’s going to happen eventually. Disney clearly sees the potential, and it feels like a matter of when, not if.
