As a player, I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to boost my Elegance in WWM, and it takes some grinding and exploring. Luckily, this guide breaks down the fastest path to leveling it up, which is a huge help!

How To Increase Elegance Attribute in Where Winds Meet

You can earn more Elegance Points in Where Winds Meet by finishing either the Kitty Lover achievement or the Gourmet Challenge. Finding these can be a bit difficult, but they both involve exploring the world and carefully checking your map.

Players can raise their Elegance by exploring the world to find cats to pet and food stalls offering local dishes.

Okay, so finding cats is pretty straightforward. They’re loud – you can usually hear their meows! Plus, if you head to the Meow Meow Temples in Kaifeng and Qhinge, you can snag some easy Elegance points. But honestly, the best way I’ve found them is by checking out the messages other players leave on the Signposts. They’re always dropping hints about where to find new kitties to pet, which is super helpful!

To pet a cat, simply walk up to it and press the ‘E’ key, then choose the ‘Pet the Cat’ option. Be careful not to press the Spacebar during the animation, or you won’t receive the Elegance Points.

Throughout the world of WWM, you’ll find Food Stalls where you can buy food using Commerce Coins. Buying a bowl of food actually increases your Elegance Point score, making it a worthwhile purchase. Here’s where you can find these Food Stalls:

After gathering all the regional Food Delicacies, players will earn Gourmet Rewards, Elegance Attribute Points, and a significant amount of Exploration points for that region.

What Does Elegance Do in Where Winds Meet?

Elegance is a key quality that affects your ability to interact with others. It influences skills like blending in with non-player characters, appearing believable, benefiting from stylish clothing, and successfully persuading people – even to the point of getting items from them.

As you increase Elegance, you’ll gain more helpful bonuses that make exploring the world easier and improve your chances of success. It also makes it easier to connect with characters – you’ll be able to convince and befriend NPCs when chatting with them using the AI system.

The higher a player’s Elegance, the better they’ll be at social interactions, and the more likely they are to convince NPCs to give them information or valuable items, even if those requests are a bit much.
