In Where Winds Meet, passive skills are called Internal Arts or Inner Ways. There are many of these skills, organized into groups that enhance certain martial arts or weapon styles. While some are generally available, most are unique and need to be unlocked through quests.

Adaptive Steel

Acquired by submitting four oddities to Qi Sheng around Verdant Wilds, Qinghe.

Art of Resistance

This reward is given after finishing the ‘Scammer Victims’ quest in Harvestfall Village, Qinghe.

Battle Anthem

Completed by securing Buddha Fort in Sundara’s Qinghe region and freeing the captive.

Bitter Seasons

Once you’ve beaten The Void King in the Qinghe ‘Gleaming Abyss’ Lost Chapter quest, head to the back of the battle area. Keep going until you find a house with a chest inside – that’s where you’ll find the Bitter Seasons: Tome.

Blossom Barrage

Received as a reward upon completion of ‘Shadows In Bloom’, a Side Story quest in Kaifeng City.

Breaking Point

Received upon defeating Yi Dao, soon after defeating Qianye in the Blissful Retreat.

Divine Roulette

Received upon defeating The Void King in the ‘Gleaming Abyss’, a Lost Chapter quest in Qinghe.

Echoes Of Oblivion

Received as a reward upon completion of ‘For Whom Does He Return’, a Main Story quest in Qinghe.

Envigorated Warrior

Received upon defeating Heartseeker in ‘Uncover Still Shore’s Secrets’, a Campaign quest in Qinghe.

Esoteric Revival

Received upon defeating the Sleeping Daoist, an open world boss, in Jadebrook Mountain, Qinghe.

Evasive Charge

I got this as a reward for finishing the first part of the ‘Streetwise Sage’ quest, which is a Lost Chapter you find in the Fairgrounds of Kaifeng City. It felt pretty good to unlock it!

Evening Snow

We found these items by searching two chests in Qinghe: one at Blissful Retreat and another at Evercare Clinic. Each chest contained five copies of ‘Evening Snow: Pages’.

Exquisite Scenery

Received upon defeating the Shadow Puppeteer – Muqi, an open world boss, in Bamboo Abode, Qinghe.

Fivefold Bleed

Received as a reward upon completion of ‘A Faltering Flame’, an Exploration quest at Kaifeng City.

This quest will take three successive in-game days to accomplish.

Flying Gourds

This item was found in a chest during the ‘Inkwell Fan – Sanctum’ event at the Silver Needle Martial Arts Sanctum in Qinghe.

You will need a Dragon Key to access the area.

Fury Harvest

Received upon defeating Ye Wanshan in the ‘Bodhi Sea’, a Lost Chapter quest in Bodhi Sea, Qinghe.

Insightful Strike

Received as a reward upon completion of ‘Archery Competition’ in Moonveil Mountain, Qinghe.

Mending Loom

I got this after finally beating Zheng the Frostwing in the ‘Ever-Normal Granary’ quest – it’s part of the Lost Chapter storyline in Kaifeng, and honestly, it felt amazing to finish it!

Morale Chant

I obtained ten different Morale Chant pages from Tang Bao at the Qinghe Blissful Retreat, purchasing each one for 500 Echo Jade.

We currently have 10 of the necessary components, and you’ll need a total of 5,000 Echo Jade to complete the Morale Chant: Tome.

Mountain’s Might

This quest, called ‘Lost Chapter’ and found in Qinghe’s ‘Palace of Annals’, requires collecting five pieces from five different chests.

Restoring Blossom

You receive this as a reward for finishing the ‘Legacy: Healer’s Calling’ exploration quest in the Sundara Land region of Qinghe.

Riptide Reflex

This item was earned as a reward for finishing the ‘Veiled Blades’ quest, which is part of the Jianghu Legacy or Worldly Affairs storylines in Kaifeng City’s Goldwater Street.

Rock Solid

You get this as a prize for beating Dao Lord during the ‘Find Little Fu’ quest, which is part of the main story in Kaifeng.

Royal Remedy

You can find this item as a reward in a chest during the ‘Panacea Fan – Sanctum’ event in Silver Needle Martial Sanctum, Qinghe. A Dragon Key is required to enter the area.

Seasonal Edge

You can obtain this item by purchasing ten separate ‘Seasonal Edge: Pages’ from Cao Sheng at the Studio of Calligraphy & Painting in Kaifeng City. Each page costs 500 Echo Jade, so collecting all ten will require a total of 5,000 Echo Jade to complete the ‘Seasonal Edge: Tome’.

Shadow Assault

Acquired by submitting two oddities to Qi Sheng around Verdant Wilds, Qinghe.

Star Reacher

Received upon defeating the Snake Doctor, an open world boss, in Moonveil Mountain, Qinghe.

Steadfast Stance

Once you’ve beaten Zhang Lang in Verdant Wilds, bow before the statue three times to reveal a hidden chest.

Sword Horizon

I obtained it by repeatedly purchasing the Unknown Old Book from Ni Laoshan at the Ghostlight Market in Kaifeng City, costing 12,500 coins each time.

Sword Morph

Received upon completion of ‘A Warrior’s Journey’ Day 3 challenges.

Thunderous Bloom

Received by clearing the Mercyheart Monastery Outpost in Mercy Garden, Qinghe.

Trapped Beast

This item was earned as a reward for completing the ‘March Of The Dead’ quest, which is part of the Lost Chapter storyline in Ghostlight Market, Kaifeng City.

Vendetta

I got this as a reward for finishing the ‘Jimming Pool: Petalfall Banquet’ quest – it’s one of those Lost Chapter quests you find in Kaifeng. Pretty cool!

Vital Leech

Received upon defeating Lucky Seventeen in the ‘Palace of Annals’, a Lost Chapter quest in Qinghe.

Wildfire Spark

Received as a reward upon completion of ‘Deerforage’s Remedy’, an Encounter quest in Qinghe.

You can start this quest after finishing ‘Culinary: Hotpot Fever’, which is an Encounter quest found in Moonveil Mountain, Qinghe.

Wind Beneath Wings

Received by clearing the Tiger Fort Stronghold in Tiger Ridge, Qinghe.
