This YouTuber has gained a large following of 3.27 million subscribers by creating in-depth videos about the stories behind FromSoftware games, complete with custom artwork and gameplay footage. He’s well-known within the gaming community for his dedication to exploring these worlds. Now, he’s expanding his work beyond video, turning the scripts from his popular Elden Ring videos into a book called Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained.
VaatiVidya Is Making An Elden Ring Book Based On His Lore Videos
So, I’m super excited to announce I’m writing a book about the lore of Elden Ring! Think of it as everything I’ve covered on my YouTube channel, but all put together in one place – it’s called “Lore Bound”. I’m taking everything I’ve learned from the main game, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, and even Nightreign, and compiling it all into a single book. I’m updating my old video scripts, getting some awesome new art made, and really focusing on making sure everything is easy to understand and fun to read.
It’s unclear if the book will cover any possible lore from the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign DLC.
You can now pre-order the Deluxe hardcover edition of Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained from Tune & Fairweather for $95. A standard softcover edition is available for $42, or you can choose one with a special designer sleeve for $65. If you’d like a preview, a free digital sample is available on their website.
Although we don’t have a firm release date, the website estimates orders will ship around the third quarter of 2026. Converting all the videos will take a significant amount of time, but the final product will be a fantastic gift for Elden Ring fans. It includes beautiful artwork created by the community and will deepen your understanding of the Elden Ring world.
