Everstone Studio’s game, Where Winds Meet, is proving to be a hit with players after launching globally on PlayStation 5 and PC. It’s been nearly a year since the game first became popular in China, and the worldwide release has gotten off to a strong start. The developer reports over two million players jumped in during the first 24 hours. The game also quickly became one of the top three best-selling titles on the PlayStation Store in seven different regions, and it ranked seventh in sales on Steam.
The game quickly became popular on Steam, ranking as the fifth most-played game when it launched. It drew over 170,000 players on its first day, and that number has since increased to almost 194,000, with the potential for even more growth.
It’s great to see this recognition, as Where Winds Meet is truly one of the best games released this year. Our review highlighted its huge amount of content, exciting combat, and captivating story. The developers, Everstone, haven’t announced details about future updates or when the global version will align with the Chinese release, so keep an eye out for more information.
