Hilaria Baldwin claims she was unfairly eliminated from Dancing With the Stars due to a coordinated online bullying effort directed at her.
Hilaria Baldwin, 41, and her dance partner Gleb Savchenko were eliminated from Season 34 of the show during week four. She had previously stated that she felt she was unfairly targeted and ‘bullied’ during her time on the competition.
The yoga teacher discussed on Monday’s ‘Too Much’ podcast how she’d seen people online openly urging others not to support her.
Honestly, it’s frustrating. She explained that it feels like everyone will vote for the other couples, but not for us – or for X, specifically. It’s like they’re intentionally trying to lower our fan votes, which is really discouraging.
The mom-of-seven admitted that it was hurtful to witness.
Seeing so many people participate made it feel disheartening. It was upsetting to witness, and it really affected me emotionally.

The celebrity stated she wished to address the allegations openly, explaining that similar situations had occurred with other contestants previously.
I don’t mind being vulnerable. I’d rather show my true emotions, even if it means being openly upset, than hide them from everyone.
She acknowledged that some would approve of her decision, while others might criticize or ridicule her for it.
Hilaria shared that after losing her job, some people who were involved in the online criticism she received have contacted her to say they’re sorry.
She also clarified that she was never bullied by anyone from the cast.
‘Everybody on the show is lovely,’ she said.
She clarified that she doesn’t want anyone to pity her, and that she actually had a wonderful experience on the show.
‘I’m only a better, happier person because I did the show.’

Her exit from DWTS was met with a mixed reaction among some viewers.
‘HILARIA ELIMINATED THANK GOD,’ one wrote on X, and another shared, ‘HILARIA IS GONE WE DID IT.’
One fan admitted to voting for everyone, even their rivals, just to get Hilaria eliminated. Another user expressed mixed feelings – they were happy to see Hilaria gone, but worried that future eliminations would be much more difficult.
Following her elimination, Hilaria accused others of deliberately and strategically bullying her.
Hilaria admitted in a live Instagram video that she was forced to leave the show due to bullying. She confirmed this happened, stating it was ‘for sure’.
The day before, on World Mental Health Day, she acknowledged that she had been bullied in recent weeks, saying she felt it was important to address it.
Even when facing difficult times, I want to remember that my life is connected to everyone around me, and I hope to be known for having the courage to stand up for what’s right.
She also told Us Weekly in October about the ‘mean girls’ on TikTok who voted against her.
I’m still pretty new to TikTok, only having joined a couple of months ago. I’ve noticed a lot of negativity and competitive behavior. Some users were intentionally voting against us in these contests – you can vote multiple times for favorites – by boosting everyone except us, essentially trying to overwhelm our supporters.
Last month, Hilaria was mocked for saying she is still trying to process her shock elimination.
Some trolls took to X to tell the beauty to ‘get over it’ or ‘put on a stiff upper lip, please.’

The actress shared on social media that she and her husband, Alec, are supporting each other and their family of seven during a difficult time.
Today was all about being a mom and really connecting with my kids – lots of feelings and conversations! I just wanted to express how thankful I am for the incredible support I’ve received from my family, friends, Gleb, everyone involved with Dancing With the Stars, and all of you. Your encouragement means the world to me and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.
‘I’m excited to cheer on my cast mates. I love you all,’ she concluded.
Hilaria received support from her husband, Alec, 67, and their seven children – Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 5, María, 4, and Ilaria, 2 – throughout the competition.
