It has come to pass that Hedera [HBAR], a digital token of some ambition, finds itself in a state of…unfavorable circumstances. For two days now, its value has retreated, like a soldier from a poorly planned battle. One wonders if the strategists amongst these digital merchants truly comprehend the weight of their trades. 🧐

The murmurs amongst the market – a place as prone to rumor as a peasant village – speak of a 6% decline, a shrinking of enthusiasm (expressed as “volume,” a rather vulgar term), and a blossoming of those who profit from misfortune – the short sellers. It is a grim spectacle, akin to vultures circling a wounded beast.

The Price and the Perilous Levels

At this very moment, as the ink dries on these observations, HBAR struggles around the $0.1925 mark. A paltry sum, one might add, considering the hopes and dreams undoubtedly invested within it. The flow of coin has lessened – a drop of 38% to a mere $512 million. It is a scene of desertion, a testament to wavering faith.

And these traders, these practitioners of the art of speculation! They have, according to the pronouncements of CoinGlass, increasingly leaned toward predicting a further decline. A rather pessimistic bunch, aren’t they? One could almost admire their unwavering cynicism.

The critical points, the lines in the sand where fortunes are won and lost, lie at $0.1888 (the support, where hope clings) and $0.1972 (the resistance, where ambitions are challenged). A formidable $2.90 million in long positions hangs precariously close to the abyss, while $7.24 million in short positions await their reward. It seems a great many are betting on ruin. A most peculiar pastime.

Should the price fall below $0.1888, these long positions will be…terminated, as they say in the modern parlance. A rather unpleasant fate for those who dared to hope. It appears the bears, those prophets of doom, hold considerable sway over this particular asset.

The Chart’s Unsettling Tale

A careful examination of the daily chart, a scroll of numbers and lines, reveals a most disheartening truth: HBAR is in retreat. It trades below the 200-day Exponential Moving Average, a sign of weakness, and is confined within a descending channel – a path leading ever downwards. It is as if the token itself is weary of the struggle.

The patterns forming upon the chart resemble a lament, a premonition of further decline. Should the price breach $0.188, a precipitous fall to $0.142 may well ensue. A rather sobering thought, even for those accustomed to the vagaries of the market.

Furthermore, the Average Directional Index, at 34.24, proclaims a strong momentum – decidedly towards the downward slope. And the Supertrend indicator, a modern oracle, continues to flash a warning – a red signal of impending gloom. 😭

A Glimmer of Hope? Or Just Wishful Thinking?

Yet, even in the darkest of times, a flicker of hope remains. Should HBAR break free from its descending channel, should it ascend and close a daily candle above it, the outlook might shift. But such a reversal requires a force of will, a surge of optimism, that is currently…lacking.

There is also talk of a spot HBAR ETF, approved in the United States. This, it is said, will open the doors to those of more…conservative temperament – the traditional investors and institutions. Perhaps they will bring a steadiness, a reason to the madness. Perhaps. One should not hold one’s breath. 🤔 It remains to be seen if these newcomers’ gold will be sufficient to turn the tide.
