Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.01.4 Out Now, but Don’t Expect Much From It
In simpler terms, the developers at FromSoftware have issued an update for Elden Ring Nightreign. This update is mainly about squashing bugs rather than introducing fresh features or tweaking game balances.
New features and improvements have been introduced in Update 1.01.4 for Elden Ring Nightreign, which is now accessible on all platforms:
1. The type of weapon is now shown in each Armament Information menu for easier navigation.
2. A glitch that caused matchmaking to fail after two players left your team simultaneously has been resolved.
3. Issues related to achievements have also been addressed.
Additionally, there is a remedy for a glitch that allowed playable characters to resurrect from a critical state without being vanquished in combat against the boss on the third day, postponing defeat. More information can be found in the patch details provided below.
The update currently lacks the anticipated duos mode, a feature that FromSoftware has confirmed will be added later. However, they have assured us that more updates are imminent as their first live-service game continues to evolve.
Today, July 7, at 6 pm PDT, it has been confirmed by FromSoftware that the Everdark Sovereign variant of the Sentient Pest will be arriving in Limveld later today.
You’ll find a wealth of tips and strategies for conquering each of the eight Nightlord Bosses in Nightreign. And if you’re curious about how to access the hidden Nightfarer Classes, the Revenant and the Duchess, be sure to read our guides on “How to Unlock the Revenant” and “How to Unlock the Duchess”. Additionally, we have a guide on “How to Switch Characters” if you want to try out different characters.

- The Weapon Type will now be displayed in each Armament Information menu.
- Fixed a bug where matchmaking would continually fail after two players joined and left your team at the same time.
- Fixed a bug where the acquisition of the gesture “It’s Raining!” through Multiplayer would not register properly.
Note: You can obtain the gesture by meeting the conditions, even if you have met them before.
- Fixed a bug where playable characters might revive from a near-death state without being defeated during the battle with the third-day boss after leaving a session and returning from the title screen.
- Fixed a bug where the background music in the Recluse Remembrance would not play properly when certain conditions were met.
- Fixed a bug where quitting the game incorrectly immediately after fulfilling the clearing conditions of the “Shifting Earth: Crater”, the “The Crater” achievement would not be awarded despite clearing the area.
Remember, even if you’ve previously received recognition for this achievement, fulfilling the “Crater” requirements will grant you additional credit towards it.
- Fixed several other instances of bugs.
