How To Start With Arms Wide Open Quest

In the “With Arms Wide Open” mission, you’re tasked with locating Lynwood. Unfortunately for him, he’s under a spell that forces him to stand still with his arms spread out, a predicament you wouldn’t wish on anyone.

He is located just northwest of Cuanacht, near Maggot’s Hut.

As you get closer to him, he’ll share details about his past and the curse afflicting him. He’ll also request that you search for a Druid who can assist in removing the curse.

The “With Arms Wide Open” journey commences here. During this quest, your tasks include locating the Druid and possibly discovering a cure for the affliction plaguing the unfortunate man.

How To Lift Lynwood Curse

The druid you’re referring to goes by the name Maggot, and you can locate him at his humble abode, which is situated to the east of Lynwood.

Head over to talk with him, and you might find yourself engaged in an extended discussion before Maggot eventually confesses that he had done it unintentionally.

Having come to understand his error, he intends to provide you with a remedy which, if used, may enable the man to regain mobility once more. With this solution at the ready, make your way back to where you last found Lynwood and converse with him.

Gently administer the mixture into Lynwood’s mouth, and soon afterward, he should regain consciousness and be capable of movement once more.

Now, Lynwood is curious how you got your hands on the potion, and he will want to know.

In this situation, you could either assure him that what happened before no longer matters since he’s been healed and can continue with his day, or alternatively, you could bring up the fact that the healing came from Maggot, the very druid who had previously cursed him.

Either way, whatever option you pick, it will complete the With Arms Wide Open quest.
