A player of Elden Ring, specifically of Nightrein, accomplished a solo run entirely without leveling up along the journey.

In Elden Ring, Nightrein offers the opportunity for you to team up with friends as you explore the game’s world and take down foes side by side. With additional allies at your side and the perfect character build, your odds of making it through to the final day significantly improve.

In a 47-minute long YouTube video, Youwy can be observed wielding the Executor sword, leveraging its strong Arcane base stat and katana, along with the Night of Miasma and Night of the Wise relics to amplify poison, bleed, and frost accumulation effects.

As a dedicated player, I didn’t just rely on my low-level build and bestial form throughout the game; instead, I played strategically at every turn. To successfully complete this run, I had to seek out three Flask Charges by visiting churches for additional healing – a task that required quite an effort. However, in the end, it was all worthwhile as those extra health reserves proved crucial to my victory.

Despite being surrounded by numerous adversaries, he managed to stay calm, drawing them out individually to defeat them, all the while skillfully evading attacks coming at him from various angles.

In the end, it culminated on Day 3, when he found himself squaring off against Darkdrift. He used chilling fog and skillfully exploited the poison from his weapon to inflict Frost, which would cause Frostbite. Then, he’d keep attacking and dodging Area of Effects (AoEs).

Many people in the comments were impressed by this. One user even made a joke: “It’s just a matter of time before we have a beginner level, one-player game controlled entirely via dancepad, where only one player is actually playing, and that player is a one-legged goldfish riding a unicycle in a sensory deprivation chamber, attempting a hitless run.

It’s quite possible that it won’t take long before someone is seen playing the game using a dance mat or a controller in just one hand.
