The latest update to eFootball 2026 includes a special pack focused on FC Barcelona, featuring legendary players like Samuel Eto’o, Xavi Hernández, and Javier Saviola. Barcelona fans will immediately recognize this lineup, and the cards are definitely worth checking out.
These cards are top-tier and have excellent stats. There’s a lot of discussion around them, particularly one striker that many players are holding onto, so let’s break down their strengths, weaknesses, and optimal builds.
eFootball 2026 Epic FC Barcelona players
Samuel Eto’o
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Low Screamer
Everyone’s excited about this card, and it’s easy to see why. Eto’o is simple to play – just pass the ball ahead of him and let him make a run. He consistently gets behind defenders, and that’s where he’s most effective.
He excels in quick, short-passing plays. Combinations, through balls, and anything that gives him room to run are very effective. When he gets going, he’s a reliable finisher, particularly with his stronger foot. His incredible speed is the key to his success.
He’s quick and technically sound with the ball. While not a dazzling dribbler, he has good control for making fast turns and setting up shots. His ability to shoot low and hard adds another threat, especially when shooting across the goal.
Okay, so when I’m playing him, he’s pretty average in the air – nothing flashy. He’s not the type of forward who’s going to win a lot of headers. Instead, he’s all about quick movement on the ground and being in the right place to finish. Honestly, with how the game is right now, a fast player with good positioning up front is still super effective, and that’s exactly what he brings to the table.
Suggested Skills: One Touch Pass, Fighting Spirit, Heading, Long Range Shooting, Flip Flap
Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct, Off the Ball

Xavi
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Orchestrator
- Show Time Skill: Visionary Pass and Attack Trigger
The Xavi card is a solid all-around choice. He excels at controlling the game and making accurate passes, ensuring consistent ball movement and providing a reliable midfield presence. If you prefer a slower, more deliberate build-up to attacks, he’s an excellent fit for your team.
Xavi is more dynamic with the ball than a player like Pirlo. He’s constantly moving, changing direction, and keeping the play flowing, rather than staying in one position. While his defensive stats are okay, he’s not known for aggressive defending – that’s not his strength.
What’s strange is the combination of abilities this card has. Visionary Pass works really well, but Attack Trigger doesn’t seem to add much. It would have been better if they’d included Phenomenal Pass instead, making the card feel more well-rounded.
He isn’t as strong with one foot as the other, which becomes apparent when he’s rushed. Because of this, it’s important to get into a good position before making a pass. He needs to be mindful of his positioning to compensate for this weakness.
Suggested Skills: Interception, Sliding Tackle, Flip Flap, Weighted Pass, Low Lofted Pass
Suggested Booster(s): Breakthrough

Javier Saviola
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst
Saviola is a classic small, fast striker, playing a lot like Romário. He’s got a low center of gravity, excellent balance, and is incredibly agile with the ball. What really makes him stand out is his quick burst of speed – it’s a perfect fit for his style of play.
He’s a skilled ball handler and can effectively move with the ball to create scoring opportunities. This is especially valuable in today’s game, where simply passing long balls isn’t always enough, making this type of forward a real asset.
He’s a reliable finisher, especially with the ‘Phenomenal Finishing’ trait, meaning he can usually score when he gets into a scoring position. However, he struggles with physical battles and often loses duels. While his heading stats look okay, his small size limits his effectiveness in the air.
Suggested Skills: One Touch Pass, Long Range Shooting, Sole Control, Outside Curler, Through Passing
