Elden Ring Nightreign Shifting Earth, Explained
Discover Insights into the Earth Shifts of Elden Ring Nightreign: Details on Their Functions, Rewards, and Beyond.
The shifting earth events in Elden Ring Nightreign are one of the game’s most puzzling elements, even though it attempts to clarify how these systems function. However, once you’ve played a few rounds and unraveled their secrets, they become less perplexing. These events offer substantial rewards like Runes and potent equipment, which can significantly boost your combat abilities, particularly against the Nightlords. Fortunately, grasping and even interpreting the shifting earth mechanics isn’t as difficult, especially if you’re familiar with the original Elden Ring.
As a seasoned Elden Ring Nightreign gamer, let me share some insights on the Shifting Earth events and their mechanics.
In other words, here’s the lowdown on what goes down during those earthquake-like occurrences in our favorite game.
What Is Shifting Earth in Elden Ring Nightreign?
In essence, Shifting Earth is Nightreign’s adaptation of what we know as Legacy Dungeons. Imagine these as persistent dungeons that contain a boss reminiscent of the original Elden Ring’s Remembrance bosses. After defeating two Nightlords, events related to Shifting Earth begin occurring in Limveld. These events can pop up spontaneously during an Expedition and are often linked to the host’s world. Despite the loot within these dungeons being randomly assigned, the enemy positions and bosses remain constant. This means that once you understand the layout of these dungeons, you can efficiently navigate them in future attempts, provided you have gear suitable for your level.
During a geological transformation known as a “Shifting Earth” occurrence, a unique dungeon pops up on the map of Limveld. This dungeon may take the form of mountainous landscapes, decayed forests, craters, or Noklateo – the specific type is determined randomly. To halt this Shifting Earth event, you can merely take some time off in the “Waiting Room”.
How To Complete Shifting Earth Events?
In Nightreign, Shifting Earth events offer an opportunity to cultivate Runes and acquire Legendary-level weapons. Yet, these dungeons are notoriously difficult with formidable bosses that can instantly defeat under-leveled characters. Therefore, it’s advisable to attempt the Shifting Earth events on Day 2, ensuring your characters have reached at least Level 10.
To unveil the Crater’s hidden secrets, venture to the deepest levels in the area and conquer the Magma Wyrm. For Noklateo, proceed towards the dungeon’s core and defeat the boss to unlock its secret. In Rotted Woods, seek out the Scarlet Flower Bud to complete the secret.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else.
1) To unveil the mystery atop the mountains, ascend the highest point and engage with the crystal that’s frozen solid. Completing Shifting Earth events will reward you, enhancing your defense, resistance, and attack strength. Plus, certain locations provide the opportunity to elevate your weapon to the Legendary level.
