Jessica Chastain showed off a fresh new look with a different hairstyle at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica on Saturday.
The 49-year-old actress looked stunning on the red carpet at the annual event, wearing a glamorous gold dress and showing off her stylish new bob haircut.
Her new hairstyle, with a dramatic side part, drew attention to her neckline and complemented her strapless dress and sparkling tennis necklace.
Oh my gosh, her dress! It was seriously incredible. It looked like it was made from this amazing raffia-like fabric, and it had the cutest fringe at the hem. But the best part? It was covered in palm trees! I NEED that dress in my life. It was just… perfect.
The Academy Award-winning actress, whose show for Apple TV+ was delayed but will now be released soon, looked stunning with a vibrant dress and red hair, completed by glamorous makeup.
She looked stunning at the science awards event, often called the ‘Oscars of Science,’ with long, fluttering eyelashes, rosy cheeks, and shiny pink lips.
I was so thrilled to hear her talk about the show! It’s amazing that it’s finally going to be released after being put on hold back in September. I’ve been waiting for this for so long!
I was so excited when I heard she’d been in ‘The Savant,’ and it was originally going to be on Apple TV! Sadly, the release got delayed after what happened to Charlie Kirk – it was a really difficult time, and understandably, things had to be put on hold.
Matthew McConaughey, known for his role in Interstellar, revealed at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony that his new political thriller series is coming to Apple TV in July.
She explained at the glamorous party that things had changed from uncertainty to confidence. Previously, it wasn’t clear if something would happen, but now she’s certain it will.
Apple TV previously confirmed the project would be shelved in September 23.
The streamer announced that “The Savant” will be delayed. They thanked viewers for their patience and said they plan to release the series later on.
The next day, Chastain, who is also a producer for the show, shared a statement on Instagram saying she didn’t agree with the decision.
She’s always been willing to tackle tough topics, and while she wishes the show wasn’t necessary, it sadly reflects current realities.
She explained that ‘The Savant’ focuses on the everyday heroes who prevent violence, and recognizing their bravery is incredibly important right now.
Chastain added that although she understands Apple’s choice to delay the show’s release, she’s still optimistic it will be available to viewers in the near future.
She finished by saying she hoped everyone stays safe and strong, and promised to announce the release of The Savant when it happens.
The crime thriller was created by Melissa James Gibson and based on an article by Andrea Stanley.
In the miniseries, Jessica Chastain plays an undercover agent who juggles her personal life with the dangerous job of monitoring online hate groups and preventing violent extremists from carrying out attacks.
The show also features a talented cast including Nnamdi Asomugha, Pablo Schreiber, James Badge Dale, Cole Doman, Michael Mosley, and numerous other actors.
