Kyle Cooke breaks silence on ex Amanda Batula’s viral kiss with West Wilson at Yankees game… amid their controversial romance

Kyle Cooke was surprised to see a video of his ex-girlfriend, Amanda Batula, kissing West Wilson go viral.

Just a day before, Batula, 34, and Wilson, 31—whose relationship has been a source of drama for the Summer House cast—shared a kiss on the kiss cam at a Yankees game in New York City.

And on Saturday, Cooke used Threads to share how he felt about Batula and Wilson’s bold PDA.  

‘Was not prepared to see that. And that. And that,’ he wrote alongside a nauseous emoji under a Threads chain related to their hit Bravo series.

After Kyle shared his thoughts, his Summer House castmate, Mia Calabrese, replied, saying, ‘Kyle, I only left you alone for an hour…’

Cooke was visibly upset after seeing his ex-girlfriend and her new partner being affectionate in public, especially since their relationship had just been announced a few weeks prior with a post on Instagram, adding fuel to the drama.

Cooke and Batula were together for a decade, including four years of marriage, before they announced their split in January.

Wilson previously dated Ciara Miller, who also appears on Summer House and is close friends with Carl Radke’s wife, Lindsay Hubbard.

Just three months later, Batula publicly confirmed her romance with Wilson. 

Responding to recent online rumors, Batula and Wilson shared an update on Instagram in late March to offer some explanation.

‘It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,’ their joint post continued. 

Because things were complicated between us, and being on a reality show means everything gets watched closely, we needed some time to sort through our feelings before talking about it publicly.

Batula and Wilson explained that they’ve always been there for each other, supporting one another through good times and bad. They added that their recent romantic connection was a complete surprise to both of them.

We were already close friends, so it was really important that we handled things gently and thoughtfully.

In response to the romance scandal, Miller broke her silence in an interview with Glamour.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen heartbreak take many forms, and Miller’s story, which came out on Friday, really resonated. She shared how deeply wounded she was to discover her ex and a former best friend had been secretly seeing each other – a truly painful experience of betrayal. It’s a tough situation, and I can only imagine how much that hurt.

Ultimately, people will be people. Miller explained that regardless of whether she and West are trying to make things work, you can’t predict what a man will do.

It’s just so surprising to me that it would be Amanda, of all people. She’s been a close friend and supporter for a long time, and that’s what makes this so shocking.

‘It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,’ she continued. 

Having all of this happen so publicly feels like an extra burden, especially when you’re then forced to watch your past life unfold on television in a new season. It’s incredibly disorienting and upsetting.

Miller, with support from Rihanna, shared that she suspected a connection forming between Wilson and Batula.

Viewers of Summer House also noticed what seemed like questionable interactions between them.

Trust your instincts – if something feels off, there’s usually a good reason. Eventually, the truth will come out, and sometimes all you need to do is step back and let things unfold naturally.

They first connected in the summer of 2023, but their relationship ended more than six months later.
