In Elden Ring’s Nightreign, as we revisit the Lands Between and immerse ourselves in a unique blend of Soulsborne gameplay intertwined with elements reminiscent of Monster Hunter, it’s natural to ask if you can team up with players on different platforms for cooperative play.
Does Elden Ring Nightreign support crossplay?

Unfortunately, I have some disappointing information about Elden Ring Nightreign: it does not offer crossplay functionality. This means that you won’t be able to engage in multiplayer activities with friends who are using different console brands or PC users. However, players using the same brand can still team up together – for example, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 gamers can play together, but unfortunately, PlayStation players cannot join forces with an Xbox user.
For Elden Ring, the base game lacked crossplay functionality, which seemed to somewhat hinder Nightreign due to its emphasis on co-operative play. If crossplay had been implemented, it would have added a significant player experience enhancement. However, I recognize that implementing this feature can be challenging, particularly with an engine that may not natively support such capabilities.
