A few days before its scheduled launch on May 30th, the anticipated cooperative spinoff of FromSoftware’s hit game Elden Ring, known as Elden Ring Nightreign, has already achieved a significant milestone.

During The Game Awards 2024, the unveiling of Elden Ring Nightreign took many gaming enthusiasts by surprise, as there hadn’t been much chatter about a new installment in this well-loved series. This came as quite a shock, considering that the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion had only recently been released a few months prior. Remarkably, the DLC almost clinched the Game of the Year award but was edged out by Astro Bot in the end.

Many enthusiasts attribute the popularity of the Executor class to a craving for a fresh samurai-themed Souls game, similar to the critically acclaimed “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice”.
