Earlier this year, Johnny Knoxville, one of the creators of Jackass, surprised fans by announcing a fifth movie. Now, he’s confirmed that Jackass 5, officially called Jackass: Best and Last, will be the final film featuring the group’s famously wild stunts.
On stage at CinemaCon, Johnny Knoxville said, “I’m going to try to keep it together,” before announcing that this will be the final Jackass movie ever made.
Jackass is really important to me. Knowing this was going to be the last one, we pushed ourselves to make it the best Jackass movie we possibly could.

Knoxville recently released the first trailer for his new movie, set to hit theaters in June. As reported by Variety, the trailer showcases a series of dangerous and painful stunts performed by the film crew.
The special featured older clips of former cast members, including Ryan Dunn and Bam Margera, who both left the show in 2021.

The show featured several new and daring stunts. These included Steve-O, an original cast member, enduring a rather uncomfortable robotic prostate exam by a robot named Larry, and Sean ‘Poopies’ McInerney, who bravely (or foolishly) agreed to wear a shock collar around his genitals.
The group then found themselves in a terrifying escape room – and it was even worse than you might imagine.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Johnny Knoxville revealed that the entire cast would return for the last Jackass movie. He also joked that they weren’t focusing on sophisticated ideas, but rather sticking to their usual brand of humor.
When asked which former co-star might cause the most trouble, the actor jokingly said he might be the issue for them. He explained that on set, he’s always striving to outperform everyone else.
He described how they create the show: He and co-creator Jeff Tremaine generally know what’s going on, but they each intentionally keep a small part of the plan secret from each other. The cast members, however, are completely unaware of what’s coming, which often frustrates them.
Jackass: Best and Last is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 26 June.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a beautiful 100-page, full-color tribute to Sir David Attenborough, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
