Xbox Game Pass Hit Is the “Perfect Game Pass Game,” Say Subscribers
The popular title that graced Xbox Game Pass earlier in the year is being praised as the “ideal Game Pass game” by some subscribers. Recently, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has been offering a string of hits, such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and DOOM: The Dark Ages, all within a month and at launch. Prior to this streak, the pace was more leisurely. This slower period is not ideal for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, but it benefits games released during that time because they don’t get overshadowed by larger titles, thus receiving more attention and gaining more popularity. Atomfall is a prime example of this phenomenon; if it had been added to Xbox Game Pass during the mentioned streak, it likely would have gone unnoticed. Instead, it was released during a quieter time for the subscription service, making it a success. In fact, it even became the most-played game on Xbox Game Pass at one point.
Back in March, Atomfall became available on Xbox Game Pass, and it’s still a popular topic among subscribers, even with the recent influx of major titles. A recent post on the Xbox Game Pass Reddit forum inquired about the satisfaction level of players regarding this survival game. The post also acknowledged the quality of the game offered through Xbox Game Pass.
Despite many big games coming out recently, people are still talking about Atomfall, a game added to Xbox Game Pass in March. A recent post on the Xbox Game Pass Reddit asked if players were still enjoying this survival game and also complimented it as a good game available through Xbox Game Pass.
The Reddit post in question states: “Atomfall took me by surprise, as I had no prior knowledge of it. Initially, upon seeing it on Game Pass, I thought it was just another gritty, low-budget open-world post-apocalyptic title to pass by. However, after playing Oblivion Remastered and Clair Obscur, I found myself craving something fresh. So, I decided to download Atomfall. Although I wouldn’t rate it a 10/10, I am genuinely impressed with how much I’m finding myself immersed in the game thus far.”
“I didn’t know about Atomfall before and thought it was just another edgy, low-budget post-apocalyptic game on Game Pass. But after playing a couple of other games, I decided to give it a try. Although it’s not perfect, I’m really enjoying the game so far.
In response to the post, an Xbox Game Pass user referred to it as a “fantastic fit for the Game Pass.” While not all comments share this view, quite a few do.
The experience was fantastic! It’s an engaging sim with minimal direction on objectives, which I appreciated. The story was decent, and the gunplay was better than most RPG shooters. I particularly enjoyed the limited yet carefully crafted dungeons for exploration.
If you’re intrigued, Atomfall is an action-packed post-apocalyptic survival game, developed by UK-based studio Rebellion Development, famously recognized for their Sniper Elite series. Upon its launch, this game, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X, received Metacritic ratings in the 70s.
Players who choose to play this game using Xbox Game Pass can anticipate spending around 10 to 25 hours to complete it, depending on how thoroughly they wish to experience it. Completionists might require approximately 25 hours to finish every aspect of the game.
