Get the Painted Trophy in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The “Brushes with Death” expansion initiates in the Trosky Region, however, the Artist eventually journeys to Kuttenburg. To continue more Painter-related quests, players need to advance through the main storyline first in “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2“. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough on acquiring the Lapis Lazuli for Voyta, also earning the associated trophy/achievement as you progress Master Voyta’s questline.

How To Start Stained Honour Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Upon reaching the Kuttenburg Region, you can find Voyta close to the western gateway of Kuttenburg City. Your initial task here will be known as “The Night-Mare“, during which you’ll need to drive Bellissimo away. After completing this mission, reconnect with Voyta and inquire if he needs assistance. He’ll share that he has painted a fortress in Pschitoky, but the Bailiff hasn’t provided him with the promised compensation. Instead of Groschen, Voyta is asking for Lapis Lazuli, a gemstone owned by the Bailiff.

Head swiftly to Pschitoky and make your way to the designated spot to meet the Bailiff. Discuss with him the painter’s rewards, and he will express his desire to win Lady Adela’s favor by having you insult her. He plans to do this by challenging you in a fight, hoping to triumph over you, thus securing her affection.

You could steal the Lapis Lazuli directly from the Bailiff without anyone noticing. Go ahead and pickpocket him for the gemstone. Once you have it, make your way back to Voyta to complete the quest. But do keep in mind that this action will prevent you from earning the “Painted” trophy/achievement if you’re aiming to collect all DLC trophies in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

How To Get Painted Trophy/Achievement In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Head over to the willow tree, that’s where Adela of Mnischek is sitting. Chatting with her presents you with two choices: either mock her or disclose the Bailiff’s scheme. While it’s an option to stick with your original plan and insult her, it’s wiser to reveal the Bailiff’s plan because Adela will reward you handsomely in Groschen. Once you share the Bailiff’s plans with her, she’ll ask for an insult. When the Bailiff shows up, you should fight him so that you can claim your reward from Adela.

Once the duel concludes and you acquire your 1,050 Groschen, spend the time around 2 a.m., when most people are asleep, to secretly enter the Bailiff’s chamber. Since there are guards stationed at the building entrance, it would be wiser to approach the side with scaffolding nearby. Ascend the ladder and move towards the distant staircase.

If you have a dark outfit, it is best to wear it to make yourself less visible during the night.

First, unlock and enter both the front door and the Bailiff’s room. Make sure to close the doors behind you. Next, quietly take out the sleeping Bailiff without waking him up. Then, explore the painting in the room and try to improve it if possible. Completing this task should earn you a special achievement called “Painted”. After that, search for valuable items such as Lapis Lazuli by stealing from the Bailiff. You may also find his keys which can open a chest filled with expensive armor that you can sell.

Return to Voyta and chat with him. You have two choices: either hand over the Lapis Lazuli and discuss the repainting while keeping the gemstone, or deceive him by only mentioning the repainting. Regardless of your decision, you will receive a Miser’s Cuirass as a result.

1. Make your way back to Voyta and converse with him. You can either give him the Lapis Lazuli and discuss the repainting while secretly keeping the gemstone, or you could trick him by only bringing up the topic of repainting. No matter what you decide, a Miser’s Cuirass will be yours in the end.
