Elden Ring Nightreign Trailer Details the Guardian’s Passive and Skills
The fresh trailer from FromSoftware showcases Elden Ring Nightreign‘s newest character, the Guardian – an adept Pinionfolk Nightfarer with a knack for absorbing attacks. For further insight, a supplementary video is provided detailing his inherent ability, active skill, and ultimate move. Take a look below.
It’s clear that the Guardian’s defensive abilities are remarkable, with his passive being the “Steel Shield” stance, which is tough to penetrate. This makes him an exceptional choice for defense. His active skill is called Whirlwind, which not only knocks down smaller enemies but also deflects light projectiles. However, it’s advisable to avoid using it against breath attacks and beams.
Lastly, we have his supreme creation called “Wings of Salvation.” When activated, The Protector ascends, plummets, and inflicts damage over a wide area. It appears to shield companions, but judging from the trailer, it might also bring them back to life if they’re defeated.
6 members of the Nightfarers group are now verified, with the Wylder set to join them soon, accompanied by a trailer. As of now, we don’t have any details regarding the last two members, who are said to be the Executor and Revenant. Keep an eye out for further news on this.
Elden Ring Nightreign launches on May 30th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
