Charlotte Crosby turned heads at the London premiere of the Michael movie on Thursday, looking absolutely gorgeous.
The 35-year-old TV star looked stylish in a brown polka dot mini dress as she posed for photos on the red carpet before the event.
Charlotte wore a fashionable brown wool coat, briefly revealing her fit legs underneath.
She finished her outfit with relaxed, brown cowboy boots and added some gold jewelry.
Also in attendance were Tinie Tempah, Bobby Brazier, Emeli Sande, and Sarah and Aston Merrygold.
Tinie, 37, looked effortlessly cool in a blue padded jacket paired with faded black cargo trousers.
Bobby, 22, cut a suave figure in an all-black ensemble as he posed for cameras on the red carpet.
Emeli, 39, looked stylish in a classic little black dress, which she wore with sheer black tights and ankle boots decorated with studs.
Aston, 38, and his wife Sarah looked very affectionate together as they posed for a photo on the red carpet.
Following the release of the trailer for the new Michael Jackson biopic, fans are getting their first look at the film, which stars the King of Pop’s nephew in the lead role.
Jafaar Jackson, nephew of Michael Jackson, will portray the singer in a new movie called ‘Michael’ that comes out this month.
The film explores the life of the iconic musician, going beyond his music to show his journey from leading the Jackson Five to becoming a global superstar in the 1980s.
Jaafar, age 29, convincingly portrays Michael Jackson in the first glimpse of the transformation, and is even seen with Michael’s famous pet monkey, Bubbles, reading a book together in one scene.
The film also shows Jafaar performing as his deceased uncle on stage, working on new music in the recording studio, and touring the world to meet the requests of his international fanbase.
The movie will feature reenactments of Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” music video, as well as the incident where he was injured and hospitalized after a fire during the filming of a Pepsi commercial.
The film received approval from the late star’s family, and actor Austin Butler was chosen for the main role, joining established stars Colman Domingo and Miles Teller in the cast.
Originally scheduled for release last year, the movie was delayed until this spring because of legal problems. These issues required the filmmakers to reshoot some scenes and revise the script.
Antoine Fuqua, the director of popular films like Training Day and The Equalizer, directed the project and spoke highly of Jaafar.
He explained that it wasn’t just about how much the person looked like Michael. It was Michael’s personality and energy that really shone through, almost magically. He said you really had to see it for yourself to understand.
Even though the filmmakers received permission from Michael Jackson’s estate, his daughter Paris, 27, publicly expressed her disapproval of the movie due to what she felt were factual errors.
She stated that the story being told is manipulated and filled with both inaccuracies and outright lies, and she ultimately finds that unacceptable.
‘Go enjoy it. Do whatever. Leave me out of it,’ she concluded.
The film also explores the difficult and tense relationship between Michael and his father, Joe. They struggled to connect with each other.
Joe Jackson was a very strict father to his children, and the film doesn’t hide that fact. It shows the Jackson Five practicing relentlessly at home, highlighting his demanding approach.
Once Joe explains how he wants to build on his family’s achievements, Michael appears unsure.
In a clip from the trailer, Joe excitedly tells reporters, ‘I’m planning a world tour! And this is just the start!’
Hearing that just… stopped him in his tracks, honestly. Michael actually said he needed to think things through with the family, which, okay, fair enough, but then Joe just immediately shut it down with this super blunt ‘I already told you what I think.’ It was… intense. Like, he wasn’t even letting Michael process! I replay it in my head constantly, it’s just… wow.
You know, Michael’s always been a bit of a dreamer. He loves his family, truly, but he’s got this incredible energy and so many ideas bubbling inside him. He just needs to create, to get everything he’s imagining out into the world. It’s like he has to, and honestly, I totally get it. It’s inspiring to watch him try to make those ideas a reality.
Looking back at Michael’s incredible journey, it all started with family! He first rose to fame alongside his brothers in the Jackson Five. And you know, a huge part of their early success was their father, Joe, who really managed their careers and pushed them to achieve greatness. He was a driving force behind getting them noticed and honing their talent.
