Outlander’s prequel series Blood of My Blood reveals first look at season 2

A new teaser trailer has been released for Blood of My Blood, the Outlander prequel series. The show will focus on the story of Jamie and Claire’s parents in season 2, giving fans a first look at what’s to come.

The new Starz series, coming this fall, tells the love stories of two couples: Claire’s parents, Julia (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), and Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy).

The new trailer revisits the stories and time periods of the two couples, and we get a first look at a younger Claire.

The next season continues the story immediately after the first, bringing new difficulties for both couples. At the end of season one, Henry and Julia reached the Craigh na Dun stones, hoping to travel back to their time, while Ellen and Brian found themselves caught up in the 1715 Jacobite Rising.

Season 2 will center around a major conflict. The story suggests the two couples will face challenges and be pulled apart as the different groups take sides in a growing rebellion.
