Kelsey Grammer, 71, and wife, 47, spotted for first time with baby son – his eighth child – during Beverly Hills lunch

Kelsey Grammer was seen out and about in Beverly Hills on Thursday, proudly showing off his newborn son for the first time.

Kelsey Grammer, 71, and his wife Kayte Walsh, 47, were all smiles while taking their new son, Christopher – born in October and Kelsey’s eighth child – out for lunch in a fancy part of Los Angeles.

The Emmy-winning actor looked cheerful, even though he was wearing a brace on his left hand. He was dressed comfortably in a cardigan, t-shirt, and sneakers.

Former flight attendant Walsh looked comfortable and relaxed, wearing a flowing floral maxi dress and a casual bun for her outing.

She gently held the couple’s baby boy, who seemed happy and wore a cute outfit.

Married for 15 years, the couple are parents to three children: 14-year-old Faith, 12-year-old Kelsey Gabriel, and 9-year-old Auden James.

After announcing they were expecting a baby in June 2025, a source shared with the Daily Mail that the news had brought the couple closer together.

According to a source, Kelsey is excited to be able to focus on being a dad again after a busy period.

He’s been a wonderful support to Kayte during her pregnancy. Although they hadn’t planned it, this has brought them closer together and revitalized their marriage, which they both really needed.

This will be the couple’s fourth child. Including Kelsey’s children from previous relationships, their new baby will be surrounded by a lot of love.

Having revisited the role of Frasier in the recent revival, Kelsey Grammer feels ready to move on to new projects. The show was cancelled after its second season.

The actor has two daughters from previous relationships: 42-year-old Spencer Grammer with ex-wife Doreen Alderman, and 34-year-old Greer Grammer with former girlfriend Barrie Buckner.

He shares two children with his former wife, Camille Grammer: his daughter, Mason Olivia Grammer, age 24, and his son, Jude Gordon Grammer, age 21.

Grammar shared with The Guardian in 2018 that becoming a father later in life felt like a second chance, which he described as a wonderful gift.

I remember when Kelsey Grammer first came onto my radar! It was back in 2009 – he was flying on one of my routes to London, and I was his flight attendant. That’s how we originally met, and it’s a story I’ll never forget.

The actor started his relationship with her while he was still legally married to Camille Grammer, a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

He shared with Jimmy Kimmel in 2012 that he and his partner first met on a flight to England.

‘It was very romantic, she was working on the plane.

A few days later, we met for coffee and ended up having a wonderful, snowy evening in London around Christmas.

They got engaged in December 2010 and married two months later on February 25, 2011, in a romantic ceremony at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Grammer’s divorce from Camille was finalized only days before, on February 10.

The actor, discussing his fourth marriage with People magazine, said it felt like a completely new experience. He also described his wife, Walsh, as wonderful.

Oh my gosh, Frasier! I remember when he first appeared on Cheers – it was only supposed to be a quick little thing, like six episodes! Everyone loved him so much, though, they just had to keep him around. He became a total regular, and honestly, a complete obsession for me and so many others! It’s amazing how a short arc turned into something so incredible.

He later played the same character in the spin-off series, Frasier, where the show followed the psychiatrist as he returned to Seattle to host a radio advice program.

David Hyde Pierce played Niles, John Mahoney played Martin, Peri Gilpin played Roz, and Jane Leeves played Daphne in the series.

The show aired for eleven seasons, from 1993 to 2004, and became one of the most popular spin-offs in TV history.
