The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2026, and it’s full of legendary artists! The new inductees represent a wide range of musical styles and generations, recognizing the huge influence of pioneers in rock, hip-hop, and R&B. This announcement solidifies the place these performers have earned in music history and celebrates their impact on music around the world.

The performers selected for this year’s Hall of Fame represent a diverse range of musical styles. The Class of 2026 includes iconic artists like Oasis, Sade, Wu-Tang Clan, Iron Maiden, Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, and Luther Vandross. This is the first time Wu-Tang Clan, Luther Vandross, and Phil Collins have been inducted, having been nominated this year. Though Phil Collins was previously inducted with Genesis in 2010, this is his first time being honored as a solo performer.

In addition to honoring top artists, the institution is also celebrating those who’ve significantly impacted the music industry as a whole. Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Gram Parsons will receive the Early Influence Award. Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller, and Rick Rubin are being recognized with the Musical Excellence Award, and Ed Sullivan will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will induct its 2026 class on November 14th in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be shown on ABC and Disney+ in December.
