Sony CinemaCon 2026 Panel: Live Blog (In Progress)

Sony Pictures is planning some big reveals at CinemaCon 2026, the movie industry’s biggest annual event. Held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, CinemaCon brings together theater owners and studio representatives to preview upcoming films. Expect major announcements about Sony’s most anticipated 2026 releases.

Sony Pictures will be presenting at CinemaCon on Monday, April 13th, from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. Eastern Time (6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time). They’re expected to showcase their biggest upcoming films, including the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and will have a significant presence at the event.

Following the hit movie adaptation of Super Mario Galaxy, Sony Pictures might share a first glimpse of their upcoming Legend of Zelda movie at CinemaCon.

Sony has several exciting films coming up, including the Resident Evil movie directed by Zach Cregger, the concluding chapter in Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji series (Jumanji 3), and a sequel to The Social Network, currently titled Social Reckoning.

A new image shared by @FilmUpdates on X shows a poster for Spider-Man: Brand New Day featuring a scene from the first trailer. The poster depicts Tom Holland as Spider-Man swinging above Boomerang, who is one of several villains in the movie.

Phil Lord, a writer on the Spider-Verse movies, has hinted that we might hear news about Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse – the final film in the series – sometime next year. He responded to a fan’s question on X (formerly Twitter) with an “eyes” emoji, suggesting Sony will be talking about the Spider-Verse trilogy soon.
