The first photo from Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming romantic comedy, Office Romance, has been released.

The 56-year-old singer appeared to be gazing adoringly at her Ted Lasso costar, Brett Goldstein.

They are nearly nose to nose as he smiles at Lopez, who plays his boss.

An official synopsis was also shared by Netflix in a Monday Instagram post.

The new Netflix film, OFFICE ROMANCE, stars Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein. It’s a funny and steamy romantic comedy about two people who work too much and find themselves in trouble when they fall for each other at the office. The film will be available to stream starting June 5th.

Lopez added three clapping emoji as she hit the like button.

Lopez stars as Jackie Cruz, a CEO who develops feelings for a new hire, Daniel Blanchflower, portrayed by Goldstein.

She told People magazine that Jackie is a dedicated worker who is very disciplined and doesn’t want anything to disrupt her focus.

Originally from the Bronx, he explained that while certain aspects might have been helpful, his experience as a CEO is very different from Jackie’s. He emphasized that despite his strong work ethic, he values maintaining a healthy work-life balance and making time for loved ones.

The actress immediately agreed to star in the film, describing it as a timeless love story with a fresh, modern sense of humor. Despite a busy schedule, she prioritized the project. ‘I was already committed to other work, but this movie felt special, and we found a way to make it happen,’ she explained. ‘I truly believe it’s the kind of feel-good story everyone needs at the moment.’

She also raved about her costar.

The siren said Goldstein ‘brought an amazing calming and self assured energy’ to his performance.

‘There’s something very grounded and natural about him,’ she said.

He didn’t need to force any romance or humor; his natural charm and genuine funniness simply shone through.

Goldstein shared that he and Joe Kelly wrote the script for Office Romance with Jennifer Lopez in mind.

We were discussing the greatest romantic comedy star, and immediately agreed it was Jennifer Lopez,” the actor shared, adding that they’ve long admired her.

We came up with the entire concept for the movie during a single, long train ride. It’s simple to write a romantic comedy when you’re picturing Jennifer Lopez – she’s truly the best at this genre. We just wanted to create something funny and clever that would appeal to her and make her want to star in it.

Director Ol Parker shared with People that the movie is a bit more extravagant than audiences might anticipate for a Jennifer Lopez film. He said she embraced the chance to be bolder and was hilarious while doing it.
