Oy vey! Peter Schiff, that old grumpypants 😠 who’s been kvetching about Bitcoin since Moses wore short pants, is back with another gem! He says, and I quote (because who would believe me otherwise?), “Bitcoin was born out of the financial crisis of 2008. Ironically, the financial crisis of 2025 will kill it.”

So, according to this Nostradamus of negativity, Bitcoin’s whole reason for being – those pesky systemic flaws from the 2008 shemozzle – will be its undoing in the next big kerfuffle. It’s like saying your bubbe’s chicken soup will cure your cold, but then poison you later! 🍲

You see, back in ’09, when everyone was blaming the banks and stuffing their mattresses with cash, some clever schmendrick cooked up Bitcoin. A digital “nyah-nyah” to the fiat system, where no one could tell you what to do with your gelt! But now, with interest rates doing the cha-cha and everyone jittery about global unrest, Schiff says Bitcoin’s gonna croak! 💀

Now, hold your horses! Some folks are saying that Bitcoin’s got a stronger tuchus this time around. All those fancy institutions hopping on the bandwagon, plus regulations and whatnot. And look, Bitcoin’s bouncing back like a rubber chicken! It’s almost at $82,000! That’s enough to buy a whole lotta chopped liver! 🤑

But, if everyone loses their marbles, this rally could hit a wall harder than a borscht belt comedian. The 100-day and 200-day moving averages (whatever those are – sounds like a Yiddish dance step!) are lurking at $85,000 and $87,800. Will Bitcoin be a hero or a schmuck in the 2025 crisis?
