Emily In Greece! Lily Collins’ smash hit Netflix show ‘set to leave Paris behind for much-anticipated sixth season’

Sources say that in the sixth season of Emily in Paris, Lily Collins‘ character, an executive in public relations, will move from Paris to Greece and Morocco.

Fans suspected this change was coming after the fifth season ended. Emily received a postcard from Gabriel, her sometimes-boyfriend, who had moved to Greece to work as a chef on a wealthy man’s yacht.

Despite moving, Darren Star, the show’s creator, strongly suggested Gabriel would continue to be a part of the series, telling Variety he ‘can’t imagine the series without him’.

This isn’t the first time the story of the American woman living in Paris has moved beyond the city limits. Previous installments have already taken her to places like Rome and Venice.

Emily’s next season of filming will take place in Greece and Monaco, with production scheduled to start next month.

Daily Mail have contacted Netflix for comment.  

This news follows Lily’s appearance at PaleyFest in Los Angeles, where she showed off her engagement ring. She recently got it back after it was stolen three years ago.

She was heartbroken when a very rare item was stolen from her while she was staying at the West Hollywood EDITION Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in 2023.

Lily kept her engagement ring, which her husband, filmmaker Charlie McDowell, had custom-designed and is valued at over £65,000, safely stored at the event location.

Lily and Charlie McDowell, son of actor Malcolm McDowell, got engaged in September 2020. They first met the year before, while working on Charlie’s movie, Gilded Rage.

The couple got married in a small, private ceremony at Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, in September 2021.

Lily recently told Charlie and their daughter, Tove, about how she manages work and her personal life.

She and Charlie seemed very affectionate as they lovingly cared for their 13-month-old daughter, who was born through surrogacy.

The couple looked incredibly proud in the sunny photos, and Lily also shared a peek at some of her recent work.
