The First Berserker Khazan – All Soulstones in Mount Heinmach

The First Berserker, Khazan, follows the style of Nioh for its missions, featuring levels that are structured linearly and can be replayed. This design means items have specific spots where they’re found, making it beneficial to revisit levels to gather all items before progressing further. Soulstones are an item that boost Khazan’s abilities, and you’ll discover some in every level.

On your initial adventure, Mount Heinmach, there are some Soulstones hidden too. Although you might not be able to utilize them right at the start of the game, it’s still wise to gather them for future use.

All Soulstones in Mount Heinmach

There are two Soulstones to be found in Mount Heinmach.

First Soulstone in Mount Heinmach

  • As you venture into the cavelike structures of Mount Heinmach, you’ll eventually run into the Pell Los Centurion. This is your first major challenge, but defeating him will lead you to the first Soulstone in the game.
  • As you finish him off, you need to go up by taking the left path from where you fought the Pell Los Centurion.
  • Continue forward, and you’ll see the first Soulstone in the distance but it’s not reachable just yet.
  • Make your way into the cave and fight off the two soldiers, but instead of going straight, stick to the right until you see a dropdown path.
  • Jump down, and keep going straight until you reach the Soulstone formation. Break it to collect the Soulstone.

Second Soulstone in Mount Heinmach

  • Continue through the mission and you’ll eventually descend towards a frozen area with a Yeti in sight. You can hear its roar, but you don’t have to face him outright.
  • Make your way through the crevice and instead of going forward, turn left instead.
  • Follow the upward path on the left and you’ll see the Soulstone at the very end of the cliff.

Repeat the previous action and shatter the Soulstone to gather it. At this point, it’s unusable, but it’s an extremely precious asset for future use.

What To Do With Soulstones in the First Berserker Khazan?

After gathering some Soulstones, you’ll have the ability to enhance certain attributes by engaging with Daphrona.

She uses Soulstones and buffs the following by a certain percentage.

  • Lacrima Gain
  • Max Spirit
  • Health Recover Increase

Each time you activate “Unleash Soulstones”, you will be presented with a choice between two stats. First encountered in Mission 3 of the Forgotten Temple, Daphrona is located near a Blade Nexus; it’s impossible to ignore her.

You can later meet her in the Crevice as well.

It’s definitely beneficial to stay vigilant for these items, as you can monitor your progress by checking the overworld menu in the Crevice. Furthermore, should you collect all Soulstones within a single level, you’ll receive a message confirming that you’ve found them all.
