Ben Affleck spent the weekend having fun with his sons, Samuel and Fin, in Los Angeles.
The actor, 53, was seen out with his children on Saturday after they attended a Roller Derby event. He recently spent time with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, before Easter.
This news follows reports that the Academy Award-winning actor gave his former wife, Jennifer Lopez, his portion of their $61 million home – just over a year after their divorce became official.
Affleck kept it casual in an off-white shirt as well as a gray outer piece and khaki trousers.
He completed his ensemble for the daytime excursion by slipping into a pair of comfy Nike sneakers.
The celebrity was spotted walking on the sidewalk with Fin, age 17, and Samuel, age 14, as they continued on their way.
I’ve been following Ben Affleck for years, and it’s always interesting to see how he navigates family life. He and Jennifer Garner, who were married from 2005 to 2018, share three kids – his teenage sons and their daughter Violet, who’s already 20! It’s clear he’s a devoted dad.
You know, even though they’re no longer a couple, they’ve really made co-parenting work. It’s lovely to see, and over the years, people have often spotted them getting together – they clearly prioritize their kids and have a good relationship despite everything.
Last week, Matt Damon was spotted out with Jennifer Garner and their son Samuel while they were running errands.
The three friends walked around the city, and Affleck grabbed an iced coffee while chatting with the actress from ’13 Going On 30′.
Back in February, the couple also got together to celebrate their son’s fourteenth birthday at Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, California.
Garner recently shared details about co-parenting their three children, explaining how they’re being raised in two different homes since the divorce.
In an interview with Bustle’s One Nightstand on YouTube, she shared that she aims to strike a balance between being raised with strong values and enjoying life.
She explained that she often takes on both parental roles, especially since her children split their time between two homes. She added that her ex-partner does the same thing when the kids are with him.
It’s understandable, really. When important energies aren’t balanced within your environment, it’s difficult to avoid certain outcomes.
Garner admitted there’s a downside to the situation, but also a benefit. It’s been a learning experience, and it’s helped me relax and stop worrying so much about the past.
Ben Affleck was recently spotted out and about on Saturday, following reports that he transferred his ownership of the $61 million Beverly Hills home he shared with his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, to her.
The former couple bought the large property in May 2023 for $60.85 million and have been trying to sell it ever since, starting in July 2024. They’ve lowered the price several times, shortly before Lopez filed for divorce.
The Daily Mail recently obtained legal papers showing that the ex-couple made a private change to their divorce agreement, which was originally filed in January 2025 when their divorce became final.
On April 9, they added a ‘stipulation and order’ to modify specific terms of their estate.
The updated agreement clarifies that Lopez will be fully responsible for all costs related to any future sale of her share of the Wallingford Residence, such as realtor fees, taxes, and closing expenses.
They also mentioned that ownership of the property will change hands eventually, but they haven’t said when they plan to put their old house back on the market.
Lopez signed the agreement on March 31st, and Affleck signed it the following day, April 1st. This suggests Affleck may have given up his ownership in the property.
According to sources at TMZ, the actor essentially let Jennifer Lopez have his portion of the property without asking for any money from a potential sale.
The large Beverly Crest property, featuring 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, was removed from the market on January 26th.
The Daily Mail published photos showing four large moving trucks at the property, but it wasn’t clear what was happening there.
The Daily Mail contacted representatives for Affleck and Lopez for comment.
The house initially went on the market for $68 million, which was about $8 million more than the couple’s original purchase price.
A source revealed to the Daily Mail that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez lowered the price of their Beverly Hills home by $8 million, but that the loss wasn’t a significant concern for Ben.
According to a source, he’s eager to sell the property to fully separate his life from Jennifer’s.
As a huge fan, I was really surprised to hear that Ben and Jen pulled their house off the market last July. It had been listed for over a year, and after a deal fell through, they just decided to stop trying to sell it, which was a bit of a shock!
The property was then offered for sale in September for $52 million, but it was taken off the market after only four months.
Even though it was difficult to sell the house they shared during their marriage, both celebrities have now bought new homes since their divorce.
In August 2024, Ben Affleck purchased a $20 million home in Pacific Palisades, located close to where his former wife, Jennifer Garner, lives.
After her divorce was finalized last year, Jennifer Lopez purchased a $21 million home in Calabasas.
