Netflix’s hit rom-com series Nobody Wants This gets new cast for returning season 3

Netflix’s popular romantic comedy, Nobody Wants This, has announced new actors joining the cast for its third season, expected to be released later this year.

The hit series stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as a podcaster who discusses sex and relationships and a Rabbi who fall in love. As you might expect, their relationship causes friction with their loved ones because of their different beliefs.

Variety reports that nine new actors will join the show for its third season. These include comedian and actress Sarah Silverman, known for her role in Wreck-It Ralph, and Andrew Rannells, who starred in The Book of Mormon.

The actors will appear in multiple episodes as Rabbi Eden and Sebastien, a character who creates conflict. Keyla Monterroso Mejia, known for her role in Abbott Elementary, will play Amber, a woman determined to marry a Jewish man.

In addition to the main cast, six actors will appear as guests on the show: Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Stephanie Koenig, Sadie Sandler, and Steven Weber. Erin Foster, the series creator, will also make a guest appearance.

Among the guest stars, Jagannathan will play Sebastien’s aunt, and Sandler will appear as a young psychic. Foster, who is also a co-showrunner on the series, will play a character described as perpetually single and delightfully chaotic.

I’m happy to keep doing it as long as it doesn’t interfere with my evening TV, they said. The experience was also described by fellow producers Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan as “criminally fun.”
