Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Update Adds Barber Mode and More Next Week
In a surprising turn of events, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 surpassed all expectations and set new records, garnering exceptional scores on Metacritic. Fans have been anxiously waiting for this sequel ever since the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Warhorse Studios has more than delivered with a superb follow-up. The studio has committed to providing ongoing support for the game through post-launch updates and additional content, and they’ve already made necessary patches to ensure smooth gameplay.
In addition to offering free rewards to players, Warhorse Studios has also unveiled their plans for larger content updates. However, they have yet to disclose a detailed roadmap for these updates. Now, it appears that Warhorse Studios has announced an earlier-than-expected release date for the first significant update of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Warhorse Studios shared on Twitter when the next update for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” is planned to drop, and gamers are thrilled about the swift arrival of fresh content for their favorite game.
The update version 1.2 is scheduled for release on March 13th for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This update introduces the Barber Mode feature, enabling players to customize Henry’s appearance, and also provides modding options for PC gamers. Warhorse Studios hinted at a wealth of updates in store, though they have yet to reveal the specific additional content.
For “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”, initial upgrades are scheduled for the Springtime. Among these upgrades, Barber Mode will be introduced as the initial significant update of the season. Additionally, Hardcore Mode is set to make a comeback, offering players a more authentic and demanding gaming experience. Subsequent updates will introduce Horse Racing as an added feature.
Just like I enjoyed tinkering with Barber Mode and the thrill of Hardcore Mode in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1, I’m excited to hear that Warhorse Studios is adding Horse Racing as free extras in the sequel! After these updates, they’ve got something more up their sleeve – three separate DLCs coming our way. The first one’s slated for Summer, followed by Autumn, and finally Winter. And guess what? They won’t be free this time around; these DLCs will be paid additions to the game. Can’t wait!
Players can anticipate adjustments for game balance, bug resolutions, and additional features in Patch 1.2, which are probably the “stash of improvements” the studio has hinted about. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has already received its initial update, and further ones will likely be released to enhance the game’s quality.
Players are already excitedly discussing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 even before an update, and they’re actively sharing their discoveries with the community. For instance, they’ve been exchanging early game strategies to gather loot without trouble, as well as small details like Savior Schnapps. Furthermore, enthusiasts have uncovered several Easter eggs, such as ones related to One Piece and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
After Patch 1.2 goes live, you’ll find that you can personalize Henry’s appearance at the barber shop. This minor yet complimentary update adds more game content and gives players greater control over Henry’s style, allowing them to customize it according to their tastes. The substantial updates scheduled for later this year will be where the main bulk of new content lies.
Right now, you can play “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The standard version costs $59.99, while the “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gold Edition,” which includes DLC upon release, retails for $79.99.
