Monster Hunter Wilds: Where To Find an Ember Rufflizard?

As an ardent Monster Hunter Wilds enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for new creatures to add to my collection. Recently, I’ve been intrigued by the Ember Rufflizard, a small lizard that roams the wilds. Here’s how I tracked it down and successfully captured one:

1. First, I familiarized myself with its habitat, which is primarily found in dense forests and near volcanic areas.
2. Next, I equipped myself with tools suitable for capturing a lizard, such as traps or nets.
3. I then ventured into the wilds, keeping my eyes peeled for any signs of the Ember Rufflizard, such as its distinctive footprints or scorched rocks from its body heat.
4. Once spotted, I carefully set up my trap or net nearby and waited patiently for it to approach.
5. With a bit of luck and skill, I was able to capture the elusive Ember Rufflizard!

Monster Hunter Wilds doesn’t just offer huge monsters for thrilling hunting expeditions; it also boasts a variety of smaller creatures and bugs that enrich its ecosystem. If you’re intrigued by these Native Creatures in Monster Hunter Wilds, Dareel’s Research Report side mission is tailor-made for you. In the continuation of Dareel’s Research Report, he assigns you the task of catching an Ember Rufflizard, a tiny lizard-like creature. If you’re having trouble locating these elusive small creatures, follow this guide to discover where to find Ember Rufflizards in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Ember Rufflizard Location in Monster Hunter Wilds

Following Dareel’s assignment, make your way to the Oilwell Basin. Keep in mind, if you consult the Endemic Life Field Guide, it reveals that these beings thrive best in warm settings akin to volcanic zones.

In the lower levels of Oilwell Basin’s Area 15, you’ll often come across a group of three small, luminescent creatures called Ember Rufflizards. They tend to stick close to areas with lava. Additionally, some Ember Rufflizards can be found in Area 8 of Oilwell Basin as well. You should have no trouble identifying them by their neon green glow.

How To Capture Ember Rufflizard in Monster Hunter Wilds

When you find Ember Rufflizards in Oilwell Basin, move towards them quietly. If it’s needed, put on your Ghillie Mantle for a more covert approach. Once you’re close enough, throw your capture nets to grab them. Keep in mind that the range of capture nets is limited, so make sure you’re at the ideal distance for a successful catch.

If they tend to move together, taking down a few of them will earn you additional Guild Points. Once you’ve caught an Ember Rufflizard, head back to Dareel to continue his Research Report (Cont.) quest and collect your rewards – ten Might Seeds and five Honey.
