Monster Hunter Wilds Requires a 15 GB Day One Update
It’s been revealed that there will be an essential update for the newly released game, Monster Hunter Wilds, which needs to be installed before you can start playing it on launch day. The update is approximately 15 GB in size and can be downloaded whether you have the physical or digital version of the game.
Following the release of Wilds on February 28, gamers can anticipate exclusive, time-limited event quests offering unique armor rewards. Additionally, post-release enhancements for Monster Hunter Wilds are in the works, starting with the initial free title update slated for spring 2025. This update will reintroduce the monster Mizutsune and offer new event quests. A second title update is scheduled for summer 2025, introducing a fresh monster along with additional event quests.
Enthusiasts can rejoice as they join in the kickoff of the fresh game with the second phase of the Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Wilds partnership. This new segment commences on February 28 and extends till March 31. During this special period, the Chatacabra creature from Monster Hunter Wilds will manifest in sandy environments following the completion of a short-lived Emergency Quest. Benefits from the collaboration consist of an exclusive Secret Rider layered attire, Weapon Refining Elements, Armor Refining Elements, and Zenny.
To wrap things up, “Monster Hunter Rampage” is set to debut on February 28 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon has awarded “Monster Hunter Rampage” a rating of 4 out of 5, praising it as an outstanding addition to the established series, and a worthy successor to Capcom’s all-time best seller. Although there have been some technical glitches, Capcom has managed to create one of the most satisfying combat systems in “Monster Hunter Rampage”, along with introducing the franchise’s first substantial storyline.
