Summary
- Capcom rewards Monster Hunter Wilds players with 100 Armor Spheres at launch.
- The community challenge required 100,000 posts using a specific hashtag.
- An 18GB Day 1 update for Monster Hunter Wilds may include high-resolution textures.
Capcom is giving away free rewards to every player of Monster Hunter Wilds once the game goes live on February 28. The long wait for Monster Hunter Wilds is almost over; following numerous beta testing phases, players can finally access the full version of the game in just a few days.
The trajectory for Capcom is looking extremely promising, with “Monster Hunter Rise” having concluded two successful open beta phases, providing a tantalizing taste of what the full game offers. Additionally, critics have lauded the most recent installment, although some “Monster Hunter Rise” enthusiasts express concern that the core experience might be less challenging compared to earlier games in the series. Nevertheless, the fanbase is buzzing with anticipation, as they’ve successfully met Capcom’s latest community challenge, demonstrating their excitement and dedication.
On social media, Capcom asked fans to use a specific hashtag with the goal of reaching 100,000 posts in total. This event took place from February 16th through the 23rd, but it seems that the task was not challenging for the Monster Hunter Wilds Community as they managed to complete the challenge ahead of schedule. In a recent update, Capcom acknowledged the success of the event and announced that as a thank-you gesture, all players will receive 100 Armor Spheres at launch.
Monster Hunter Wilds Giving Players Free Rewards
- 100 Armor Spheres
As a dedicated Monster Hunter fan, I can’t ignore the importance of Armor Spheres in my gaming journey. First introduced in the second installment, these spheres have been instrumental in enhancing armor sets. And it seems that this tradition continues in Monster Hunter Wilds, where you can hand over your hard-earned Armor Spheres to Gemma, the Smithy.
What’s interesting is that there are various types of Armor Spheres to gather, and while these might be the standard versions, they’re undeniably valuable for my character during the early stages of the game.
In addition to its free downloadable content, Monster Hunter Wilds is receiving a significant update right from the start. Fortunately, you can preload the game, which also includes the large 18GB update. However, details about what’s included in the update are still under wraps since Capcom hasn’t disclosed the official patch notes yet. Besides typical bug fixes and gameplay adjustments, some enthusiasts have started to guess that the update might feature high-definition textures, which would undeniably increase the overall file size. Regardless, Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for release on February 28, so fans won’t have to wait much longer!
