Avowed Wasteland Courier Quest: Daiko or Tira Nui – Who Deserves the Package?

In the heart of Shatterscarp lies Thirdborn, a city players will find themselves in upon entering this region within the game Avowed. This bustling metropolis is home to several NPCs eager to delegate tasks, one such character being a merchant named Daiko. He’ll task the players with retrieving a covert package by finding his supplier. The challenge lies in that the supplier communicates via graffiti on walls. Here’s an easy guide to help you track down Daiko’s elusive supplier and finish the Wasteland Courier quest.

Finding Daiko’s Supplier in the Wasteland Courier Quest in Avowed

In the game Avowed, characters can initiate the Wasteland Courier mission once they agree to Daiko’s task of retrieving a package within the Thirdborn City of Shatterscarp area. Upon accepting this task, players should navigate towards the alley adjacent to The Dead Swordfish tavern and search for a white arrow etched on a nearby building pillar as their guide. Follow the arrow, then break a wooden panel to reveal graffiti on the wall – this is the first clue in your quest.

There are several options for getting to Daiko’s supplier meeting. Choose the route that works best for you.

Next up, make your way to Deadfall Highlands using fast travel, and specifically the Party Camp in that region as your destination. Upon exiting the camp, follow the quest marker until you notice white arrows etched onto the rocks. You’ll also come across a significant red flag bearing an “X” mark – this will serve as Daiko’s supplier’s meeting spot.

1. To reach your destination, follow the trails marked by white arrows, scaling the higher platform as shown in the picture above. This will require some climbing and sticking to the path with white markings. When you get to a quarry, try to steer clear of any enemies there and just pass through it. Exit the area using the northeast path outside the quarry.

2. To get to where you’re going, follow the white arrow-marked paths and ascend to the indicated higher platform. You’ll have to do a bit of climbing while staying on the white-painted trail. Once you reach a quarry, it’s best to avoid any confrontations with enemies and simply move through it. Exit the area by heading northeast from the quarry.

3. To get to your destination, follow the paths marked with white arrows, climb up to the higher ledge as shown in the picture above. This will involve some climbing while sticking to the trail with white markings. Once you come across a quarry, it’s better to stay away from enemies and just pass through it. Exit the area by exiting on the northeast side of the quarry.

4. To reach your location, follow the paths indicated by white arrows and make your way up to the higher platform as shown in the image above. This will require some climbing while staying on the path with white paint. Once you get to a quarry, it’s advisable to keep away from enemies there and just move through it. Exit the area via the northeast side of the quarry.

Continue walking along the path until you get to the rendezvous spot with our supplier. Interestingly, this supplier is Daiko’s brother, Aiko. Once you have a chat with him, he will pass on something to the players. Now, they must head back to Thirdborn with it.

Should You Return the Package to Daiko or Tira Nui Hajime?

When players reach Thirdborn, they will face a decision: either to deliver the package to Daiko or pass it on to Tira Nui Hajime, who is a law enforcement officer. This choice won’t alter the storyline of Avowed, but it will influence the Wasteland Courier’s compensation.

  • If you give the suspicious package to Daiko, he’ll grant players the trinket (+5% bonus Poison Damage to your weapons).
  • If you decide to hand over the package to Tira Nui Hajime, you’ll get the trinket (+2 Might Stat Increase).
