Monster Hunter Wilds Collaboration Brings Exclusive Weapons, Mount, and More to Monster Hunter Now

To mark the launch of the hotly awaited “Monster Hunter Wilds“, the augmented reality mobile game “Monster Hunter Now” will be hosting a collaborative event, with the second stage kicking off shortly. “Wilds” is the much-anticipated sequel from Capcom in the well-loved monster-hunting series, offering thrilling combat and colossal foes to conquer.

To mark the launch of the game “Wilds” on February 28, “Monster Hunter Now” is running a collaboration event where elements from “Wilds“, such as special equipment, weapons, and other items, are being introduced into “Monster Hunter Now“. During this limited-time event, players of “Monster Hunter Wilds” can earn rewards by completing specific tasks. Niantic Executive Producer Carl Damerow stated in a press conference that the collaboration had been in development for some time. The initial phase of the event is already underway, and a second phase will start on February 28, coinciding with the release of “Wilds“.

Monster Hunter Now x Wilds Collaboration Event Brings Wilds Items To Now

All 12 Hope Weapons Will Be Given Away To MH Now Players

In a new twist for fans, Niantic’s mobile game titled “Monster Hunter Now” blends cherished franchise aspects with features reminiscent of Pokémon GO. This means that the game’s monsters are now part of our reality! Players collaborate on missions, battle monsters, and enhance their hunters as they traverse both digital and physical landscapes. Additionally, this mobile version of “Monster Hunter” will soon incorporate special items and a legendary monster from the upcoming main series game, “Monster Hunter Wilds“.

As we move into Phase 2, the legendary Chaturanka monster, known as Chatacabra in the Wilds, will start appearing. In addition, all active Now players will be awarded a set of 12 weapons directly from the Wilds.

During the event, the enhancement of Hope weapons will be amplified too. Moreover, every Monday for a month, Monster Hunter Now will offer extra free materials and items to aid both newcomers and veterans in swiftly upgrading these new weapons. This way, they can start utilizing them as promptly as possible.

On February 28th, two fresh armor sets are coming to the game, featuring the Hope armor design, reminiscent of Monster Hunter Wilds outfits, and a humorous rendition of the Seikret mount. Since Now doesn’t have a mount system, the developers decided to create an amusing blow-up Halloween costume for the Monster Hunter Now players, offering them a less serious version of the new Wilds mount.
