In the game Avowed, you come across treasure maps that guide you to hidden treasure chests throughout your journey. These chests often contain rare gear pieces, even more so than what’s typically found in the area. In Dawnshore, you can buy one such map, Wodeica’s Inheritance, from Sanza’s Emporium for 100 Gold. This particular map leads to the Gloves of the Strangler, a unique pair of gloves. Sanza’s Emporium is a ship located in the northern part of Paradis, which is a distinct region separate from the main city. You can reach it through the main quest.

Where to find Woedica’s Inheritance

To locate Woedica’s Inheritance, begin your journey from the Eastern Paradis Gate Beacon teleport spot. Then, venture out of Paradis and follow the northern path that runs along the city’s outer wall.

You’ll promptly take a short passage that seems to lead to a brick wall’s dead end, yet reveals a concealed entrance, easily discernible.

To your right, you’ll find a compact switch that, when activated, unveils a modest space, housing a treasure chest within it. Nestled within this large chest lies the ominous Gloves of the Strangler.

The Gloves of the Strangler boast two inherent advantages. Initially, it offers a 3% likelihood of critical hits through its Item Bonus. Secondly, it enhances your Stealth Attack Damage by 15% due to its Lesser Ambushing passive. Unlike weapons or armor, these unique gloves cannot have their passive abilities enhanced. In other words, the stats mentioned are the fixed attributes for this pair of gloves. When you acquire the main piece of gear from a treasure map quest, it will automatically be considered complete.
