The Banquet

After your conversation with Von Bergow, simply bide your time during the day by engaging in other tasks or activities. In the evening, have your discussion with Hans and join him at a grand feast. The banquet is likely to be bustling with many interesting individuals for you to converse with.

After Henry and Hans engage with Von Bergow and Chamberlain Ulrich to initiate the feast, feel free to converse with Hans once more when you’re done with them. Now, it’s time to partake in the meal.

You’ll find numerous opportunities for participation, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience; be sure to converse with those expressing interest as well.

Engage those who show interest in your abilities, but be cautious about choices that don’t align with your proficiency level. By the way, there’s an intriguing sub-task you can activate during this mission, which requires you to snatch Knight Hermann Littlehead’s ring called Florian’s ring.

Once you’ve completed sufficient side tasks, you can court Johanka of Zhernov’s Widow. She seems to have a soft spot for Henry already, so make sure to select appropriate dialogue options that will further her affection. Spending the night with her rewards the “time well spent” bonus.

How To Get The Armor And Wine For Hans Capon

In my role as a dedicated follower, I should gear up for the imminent fight and acquire Hans Capon’s armor from the blacksmith. Here’s what I suggest: I’ll head to the blacksmith and politely request the armor. The blacksmith might claim he’s out of quality gear, but don’t believe him at face value. If you’ve built up enough Charisma, then select the “I’ll inform the Chamberlain” option. This move is the most advantageous as he will provide me with the armor.

Since Hans can be quite particular and sometimes difficult, he might reject the armor the blacksmith provides. In that case, it’s best not to persist in offering him the same piece repeatedly. Instead, focus on fixing any issues with the armor that the blacksmith initially provided, as this should resolve the problem.

It’s now time for you to go to the kitchen and find Katherine, but she seems to be missing. In this case, you’ll need to speak with the cook, Manyeta instead.

As a fan, I’ll let you know that Manyeta has agreed to share some wine with you, but there’s a catch – she needs your help first. She’ll ask you to open the chest for her. If you can’t manage it, don’t worry; just tell her and she’ll give you the wine anyway. After getting both the armor and the wine, it’s time to make our way over to Hans and pass them on to him.

Ensure you’re fully prepared before setting off for battle. Use your bonus points to purchase high-quality armor and weaponry, giving you an advantage during the upcoming conflict. Be aware that intense combat is imminent.

With Hans now prepared, the voyage commences. However, the outcome won’t be favorable for Von Bergow’s forces, as they are about to encounter an ambush lying in wait.

How To Deal With The Bandits

With spirits running high, Chamberlain is directing a large force to obliterate the outlaws. Yet, the outlaws had anticipated this move and laid a trap instead.

As Hans Capon’s devoted protector, it falls upon me to keep him safe at any cost. I must remain by his side, vigilant against any threat that may come our way. A wise strategy would be to strike from behind when these bandits are preoccupied with fighting the Von Bergow soldiers, ensuring swift and effective neutralization of the danger they pose.

Instead of attempting to eliminate the archers, keep in mind that they’ll continuously reappear as part of a pre-determined sequence for an ongoing event.

Upon arriving at Chamberlain’s location, you’ll find him trapped beneath his horse. In such a predicament, Hans will make an effort to rescue him. It is crucial to shield him since he will be exposed to enemy attacks during this time. Afterward, ensure the safety of Hans as you press onward and vanquish any approaching adversaries.

How To Get Around The Barricade

After journeying for some time, you’ll encounter a roadblock. Upon arrival, pay attention to find a cart containing various potions within. Grab them for later use. As a precaution, there are archers ahead, so consider using your bow to eliminate them. This will create an advantageous position for you and your companions when facing the enemies up ahead.

First, circumnavigate the barrier, and you’ll encounter two rogues. Overpower them and keep moving ahead. Then, descend and accompany Hans, eliminating any adversaries in your path. Once they are vanquished, proceed to the village, and a cinematic sequence will unfold.

Hans and Henry discover themselves in another challenging predicament, as they are confronted by a bandit who beats Hans, a situation that Henry will eventually resolve by killing the bandit. They soon find themselves encircled by more bandits, a battle from which even Henry seems unable to escape victorious.

The individual wearing black armor, the bandit we’re referring to, will also be present. In a heated exchange, Henry will express his disapproval towards their cowardly tactics, specifically the ambush they’ve set up. As Henry continues his tirade, the man in black armor will unmask himself and defend their actions, stating that it’s better to fight this way than face certain death. Yet, he respects Henry’s courage, so he will engage him in a fair combat instead.

How To Beat Captain Zizka

In your upcoming encounter, it’s Captain Zizka you’ll square off against. While he’s an accomplished fighter, given your experience with combat, this battle should not prove overly challenging for you.

Instead, employ the same technique of precise strike block and follow up with multiple blows once you’ve connected successfully. This tactic will keep him unaware. After landing several strikes, a cutscene will unfold, leading you directly to the conclusion of the quest.
